It looks like the navy blue shirt and white trousers combo works on Sundays.

He has to be unlikely to start banging porn stars and cocktail waitresses 10 at a time anytime soon either. That's got to be good for his longevity.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

So, if you're good at something, being a prick isn't mandatory?

Actually don't mind Spieth, but the way the US golf media fawn all over him makes me sick. L

The way he carries on when he hits a bad shot is embarrassing.

    What a flog !

Rather than tie up the PGA thread with the usual dribble, I thought I'd give the dislikers a chance to repeat their dribble here.

Jordan Spieth won the tournament at Pebble yesterday, by 4 shots after leading by 6 overnight.

According to the ESPN report, his caddie actually said words to the effect of 'let's just keep playing boring golf all day'.

That boring golf was 13 fairways of 14, 17 greens of 18, 33 putts, and a score of 2 under which got the job done.

If the aim of golf is to win tournaments, I think that is smart golf, not boring golf.

I'll also add that I often record rounds of 33 putts, but when I do I shoot 11 over, not 2 under.

The (still) young man is a very big chance to win the Masters again, if he changes the bounce of his 60 degree wedge, or changes his ball so that it is affected by the unpredictable winds on 12. Or he could just play as well as he did at Pebble, and putt like he did in the 3rd round, when he had 25 putts.

It might be considered smart to play boring golf when leading by 6.

    Agree 3.

The Shark, DJ, Scott, Sergio and Jean the Frenchman would all own more majors if they learnt to "bore" (make pars)

If Spieth putts like he usually does he would have gone 6 under yesterday, his pace was off a little during the "scoring" first nine. Whilst 2 under might be boring, the same game at 6 under wouldn't have been which means the boring concept doesn't hold water.

Sorry to say guys, but now I am out of work, I won't be able to run anymore polls.

I did ask my cat, and based on her response, Jordan's golf is as exciting as licking a cats arsehole.

According to golfwrx, he still has a 60.04 lobby.

Back him to not win the Masters!

It's come round to the win cycle with it again - win, lose, win.

I was up close with him at the Aussie open, and yes he still was using a L grind 60.04. 56.10 was a S grind and the 48 and 52 were F grinds

spieth's head is by far the best club in his bag after the putter, gives him an advantage over the others - but people got excited for tiger and phil etc because of the ridiculous shots they'd pull off when the time asked them to. Watching Jordan is boring by comparison, he doesn't do anything any other player can't do other than holing putts - and does it whilst bitching the whole round after every shot.

You could also ask the NRL player licking the cat's arsehole.

Just the cat's. Though just watch a replay of Pebble beach, and a bit of feline rimming was looking tempting.
