We need to measure some existing irons to work out an MOI target, if possible. Just thought I would mention, before you go pulling shafts etc.

For quite a while the Adams CMB's have intrigued me, seemingly no respect but they just looked sweet. Got a set of 5-W in pretty good nick, matched them to some PX 6.0 flighted I had and built by the House of Chappy. Picked them up this morning and took them for a run. They sit great at address, built to D3, hitting into a 2 club wind they launched very easily, felt very smooth and easy to load. Put the Lamkin UTX soft core grips on and they are the schnizzle. Overall really happy, have another set 4-W arriving soon and will have some Modus 105's put in them. Hopefully not too windy tomorrow and I can run them against my Yamaha's.
Yesterday the wind was down and had a real chance to hit the CMB's. They went great, shorter irons had more height than the Yammies with Modus 3 but same distances. The two heads together are the CMB's on the left as you look at the pic and Yamaha V Tour on the right. The Adams sit great at address.

Finally made a decision on shafts for my tourstage irons when the SPO's didn't work out for length. Put some Modus 130's in the today. Will grip them up tomorrow and give them a run on Tuesday afternoon. Will some pic's when complete.

I've ordered SPR for a crack in my Anser heads.
I like the Blue but looking to pick up a touch more club head speed with the lighter shafts.

I reshafted my i25/s55 combo with C-Taper R+. Liked the s55, not sure if I like i25 3&4 irons. Maybe I'm just not used to the offset.

As mentioned in my WITB, have finished building a set of 690.MB's with soft stepped super peening blue stiff shafts in them. Will get their first run tomorrow. Don't think they'll be full time gamers but should be fun to use every now and then.

Had 9 over on the first 9 (oops) and had 1 over on the second nine. Pretty happy with that as there was a double on the second nine as well. The extra weight keeps me smoother than swinging something light. Just need to turn the ferrules down slightly and they'll be schmick! They are 0.5" over standard Titleist length so may cut them down slightly but other than that, they might actually stay in the bag for a bit. I had fun hitting them.

Picked up a set of Bridgestone J38 CB heads on here some time ago intending to fit a set of stiff shafts as a backup set to my Callaway X2Hot Pros. After fitting Modus130 X flex to a set of Tourstage X wedges and absolutely loving them, I decided to try a set of X flex shafts in the J38's. Borrowed a set of KBS Tour X from a mate and fitted them and so far the results are amazing! Admittedly only a couple of range sessions and 27 holes in, but they are superb. If anyone had have told me that at age 59 I would be switching from S to X I would have laughed in their face and told them that they were stark raving mad, but at this stage they will be staying in the bag for quite some time.

Made these 3 days before Champs. No time for testing etc, and had a mixed result. Looking forward to spending some more time with them though. They are the 2G18 Proto shafts

Only hit the 6iron the net. Maybe 5 balls tonight when i picked them up.

But from tonight and the 50 odd i hit at my fitting, they are brilliant. Not as soft as Srixon Z745's, but plenty soft still, stunning look and just seemed to be the right stick for me.

Going to MGA tomorrow arvo for a dial in session, will let you know more then

Just got my new Nike Vapor Pro irons back, DG X100 Double soft stepped, 1.25" long, custom lie/loft adjustment with white ferrules and Lamkin N-Dur white grips. I told the guy I wanted a set no one else would have, he assured me this would be the case. Only tried em for 9 holes after work and they're awesome. Can't wait to see how they perform in my first 18 with them on Saturday, pics perhaps to follow.
