40pts at the Mary this morning.
Finally played well on front nine for 19. Nothing great, but nothing terrible. More steady golf on the back nine saw 21pts.
Driving was decent for a change, but put the Covert Forged/steelfibers in today and they really performed.

Consistency is the word - 9 over hc for both my rounds since joining back up. But while not great scoring today my play actually looked ok - as long as you ignored my Driving, 3 woods, chipping and my putting.

87 net 75 (par 70) in the monthly medal at Gordonvale. Course was in reasonable condition given the recent wet weather and the greens are in much better shape but still very slow. Although, the way I was putting today I wasn't making anything even if the greens had been quicker.

76 off the stick (off a 9 handicap) at Liverpool this morning to win the first A Grade Monthly Medal for 2016. 67 Nett - my mate came r/u with a 71 Nett, so was pretty chuffed with the round. 139 slope rating from the plates.
11 pars, 2 birdies, four bogeys and a three-putt double. 29 putts all up. One-putted my last five greens (including two bombs, to save par on 6 and jag a bird on 8 ). Shot even par on the front 9 (our second 9 for the day) with 7 pars a bird and a bogey.
Solid start to the year. Here's hoping I can keep it up...somehow
. I actually shot 76 at Liverpool on Thursday just gone (Dec 31, 2015) as well, so in two rounds I've knocked 1.4 off my GolfLink handicap. Hackers luck...
