double bogey (or worse) free runs

I can post in here after a second successive double bogey free round. I don't recall what happened three rounds ago, so I'll take a guess at a current streak of 40 holes.

Avoiding doubles hasn't done me any good though. Lots of bogeys, not enough pars and only one birdie.

I had best bump this thread, because after two good rounds this week I have another run going.

No disasters since a triple on the 2nd three rounds ago, so the run is currently 52 holes.

Doubled my first and tenth holes today , doubled my 5 th and 13 th holes on Thursday so sfa for me

I had another double-free round today. My air swing putt was for par, so my second, successful attempt to hole a putt from one inch only cost me a bogey and lots of lost pride.

Up to 70 holes now. I think the PB was 72, so there will be some pressure on the first few holes of the next round.

Another double free round today, so the total is up to a stratospheric 88 holes.

Three times today I was more than 100m away from the green in regulation, but managed to save bogey each time. If I can get this up to 99 the pressure will really be on for my 100th hole.

Some may have forgotten this thread existed, but I hadn't, even though I haven't played since that last report in March.

Amazingly enough, I can now report an update for the record books. After a round of 5 pars and 13 bogies today, the streak continues, and I have broken the 100 barrier. The total is now 106!!!
