Default Royal Adelaide Golf Club open day , December 6

For those South Aussies who didn't get the opportunity to play during the SA Champs, Royal Adelaide Golf Club has its annual open day on 6th December, tee times available from 9am to 1pm . Cost is $85.00, and if I recall there were prizes up for grabs last year, new Drivers and putters.

not so much stale Benno - more like annoying spending 5+ hours on a golf course waiting for the coke bottle ahead to fizz out

Not stale, we're just spoilt that our generous contact can get us on at better times

Unless you get a very early tee slot these Golf S.A Open Days can be notoriously slooooooooooow.
Try 5 1/2hrs for one at Grange one day. That was the last one I ever played in.

    Hi Larger ,

I am thinking lay up just short of the green , duff the chip just getting on the green and 2 putt - handicap par! Then go to the 17th and putt through the green into greenside bunker

    Thanks Jason, but....

    a) not interested in your plan or result on 16.
    b) I didn't actually make the green.

But enjoy, wish I was there.

Place the tee shot left of the green, chip on then roll off the back, duff the chip back up the hill just onto the green to within 10 feet, leave the putt 2 feet short, give myself a good talking too and then proceed to pull the putt left to scrub the hole.
Go to the next hole and leave the putt 2 inches short and get cross with myself again.
Is this the plan you were after!

Whoa... Mate, Mate, you've got it all wrong.

I'm more interested in how Saint Nadge handles himself.

Check the rough between the green and the 17th tee for gold coins.
