Default Monday morning 16th Nov 2015 at Kooyonga GC

All fees (green fees + comp fees) are already paid so I'll be fixing the pro shop up with Green Fees first thing Monday morning (coalesce please see me beforehand so I can grab some money off you). Everyone is entered in the comp so nothing more to pay.

It's a gated course so you may have to use the intercom to get buzzed in but just say you are a guest of Nicks at the 7:30/7:37am slot and you'll be fine. And there's usually enough people going through the gates that you can sneak in anyways.

Dress code: http://www.kooyongagolf.com.au/cms/the-club/dress-code/ (Going to be the same as RA basically)

    Tee times: 7:30am and 7:37am

Tee off will be from the 10th tee (par 4 index 1! lol) as they have some sort of corporate thing going on later in the morning. It's about a 5 minute walk from the clubhouse to the 10th tee (near the halfway hutt you can see in the distance, from the proshop). They serve alcohol at the half way hutt but I think that's only available Saturdays and Wednesdays unfortunately.

We have a table booked for 8 which was part of the arrangement but if some people need to go then that's cool, as long as some of us stay I guess

    Menu: http://www.kooyongagolf.com.au/cms/w...WEB%20COPY.pdf

I usually have the beef burger or the club sandwich, but I've had the pie of the day a few times, and it's delicious. Meals are usually pretty quick to be served so you should be absolutely fine to get to your next game in time.

There's quite a few extra beers on tap now than last year....including the $10 Peroni's which come in those quite impressive mega 500ml(?) glasses!

Locker rooms are straight up the ramp, going straight on and to your right. Sunscreen and other amenities available there.

Practice range is right next to the car park and from memory it's $6 for a bucket, payable at the pro shop as usual. I think everyone is walking so I've not booked any carts. But let me know if you need/want one.

Draw for Monday morning at Kooyonga:

    7:30am: coalesce | wazamac | jimandr | Peppas

    7:37am: HatchmanSS76 | Chilled | benno_r | Ferrins

    Prizes: 1x L/D -16th (Chilled), 2x NTP - 5th, 14th, Glenelg 2x NTP - 4th, 16th (HMSS76) 1st and NAGA each course (Coalesce), PLUS 1st, 2nd for Combined scores for the day, (Wazamac)

Any questions let me know, otherwise enjoy the round everyone! : )

EDIT: Just passed by the pro shop tonight (Friday 13th) on my way home from work, and everything good to go

Some good info above. Thanks Chilled

Just for everyone's benefit you have already paid me the green fees and comp fees. Myself/Chilled will handle that on Monday morning

Some info for the Glenelg round:

"Gareth ... let the others know that they MUST park in the Bonython avenue car park ... The Western car park will be closed on Monday ... look forward to catching up ... David "

I don't know Glenelg well enough to know what this means, but I've passed on the message!

Another bag change due to once again failing to get the required points.
2 sets to be taken for the impending change for the last round at Glenelg.

    Think I shall start with:
An oldy but a goody Titleist 975D Driver
Titleist Tour Models from 1985. I haven't gamed these before so this could be interesting.

The swap for Glenelg will be:
    Titleist 910D3 Driver
    Cobra Tour Model II's

In the spirit of this Hatchy, and after some egging on from Peppas, I will be gaming my 714 AP2s so I expect my scores to get even worse. Peppas will be gaming my S56s

    Also, groupings for Glenelg are:

    benno_r, Peppas, coalesce, HatchmanSS76
    Ferrins, jimandr, wazamac, Dave T

This is based on benno and Peppas needing to get to the airport soon after we finish. Ferrins, let me know if you also need to be in the first group

    I'm absolutely stuffed.
It's bloody hard work playing badly for so many days in row.
Swing is completely shot atm and it got worse as the week progressed.

So am I mate.......I'm knackered and have to work tomorrow : (

My 37 on Day 1 Champs was some sort of weird desert aberration, because it definitely didn't feel real. I soon came back to earth with 28 at Royal and an average 31 at Kooey today.

Too tired to swing a club now.....will definitely need the days off before starting up again next weekend, so the swing can reset.

You were even after 4 at Victor and 2 up I think.
We need to change the title of this thread to give more prominence to the afternoon round at Glenelg.
Monday was one of the best golfing experiences of my life. Two fabulous courses great weather and excellent company. Extra thanks to wazamac for letting me share his cart both rounds.
I saw lots of good shots from exanchorman Peppas and we saw a fox at Kooyonga.

That's our resident fox that lives in the scrub between the 9th and 10th holes. Seen regularly but for all the times I play there each week I've never seen him once.
