Default Looking for games in and around Launceston 30/12/15-16/1/16

Staying at Lawny for 3 days then have a house rented at Greens Beach for two weeks. A day at Barny would be cool and a Sat at Lawny with Ben? Greens Beach GC is pretty cool and Peter Thomson will be turning it into a ST Andrews replica apparently.

I'm not going anywhere over the break so the game in Launnie should be doable. I be off work between Christmas and New Years but might well be back on Monday the 4th, will make a decision in the next few weeks.

I have heard Greens Beach is nice, but I've never been up there to play it. Woodrising in Devonport is supposed to be decent too.

Greens Beach is a pretty cool little track and at $120 for a fortnight of unlimited golf I'm set.

    Oh hai Ferrins!

Forgot about this and already did Barny this week, and booked for Launnie on Wed/Sat. I don't go back to work til the 11th though so I'm sure we can still squeeze in a game somewhere if you're still keen.

No worries - Launnie or elsewhere? I guess it'd be next week sometime.

No worries - hope you like it. I've only played it once in pennant but I enjoyed it. It's a decent layout, I'll be interested to hear what condition it's in.

Started triple, double, bogey and double then pars for next 5.
2nd green had cow hoof prints all over it. The 3rd and 4th had been ripped up by the Corella's.

Thouroughly enjoyed the round after the first 4 holes and had a good chat with one of my fisho playing partners. It reminded me of the SA Champs with all the short par 4 holes.

That's good then. It's a pretty good club I think, just struggling a bit for members and $ - Launceston's really not quite big enough for 4 18 hole courses/clubs but we manage it somehow, for now.
