So, I saw this article today.

Now, who else is a bit surprised by this? I mean, good on him, and I always thought he's done great, but I honestly raised an eyebrow when I saw that.

When I see these names on the list below him, no, it doesn't surprise...
Justin Rose, $57,432,647
Matt Kuchar, $55,183,496
Sergio Garcia, $54,433,395
Jordan Spieth, $52,791,175
Justin Thomas, $50,953,830
Jason Day, $50,791,670
He's had a better career than all those guys to date. Speith and Thomas will easily overtake him, especially with purses only going up, but when you play 30 events a year and only miss one or two cuts as he tends to do, you make a lot of money. There was a period back in the early 2010's from memory where he had the longest active streak of made cuts. That'll always help the bank balance.

Yeah, I did look at the followers and thought, "ok then". Certainly not trying to say anything against him. I'm just kinda surprised there weren't more ahead of him, I guess.

the PGA tour also has a "superannuation" fund for players. I remember there was an article written well before Lefty won his first major which said that if a player averaged 50th for 20 years he would get a payout of about $40M
I heard a story about that recently.
Wasn’t there a podcast episode recently where Greg Chalmers got his first cheque in the mail.
Didn’t know what it was so called the tour and said what’s this? They said that’s your retirement benefits… he replies “I thought I made more than that?”
Oh you get that every month for life
Looks like he’s going full Ozgolf with a mixed bag of whatever works….
He’s using the yet to be released Ping Blueprint S irons this week.
