I'm very impressed by the phrase "non-negative test" you have used, Hatch.

Drug and Alcohol testing time was for me perhaps the worst time I ever had as a manager of people. Being in the rail industry, we had a total zero tolerance policy, even though my workers had nothing to do with train and transport operations. So I'd have to deal with people who had a sudden attack of civil liberties principles and refuse the test 'as a matter of principle', or people who had a smoke a month ago and were worried they would be positive. No fun at all.

I know. It's been good for floor morale this bell end hasn't got away with it again.

There was an influx of people off the floor that were more than happy to spill about the bell end bragging about how to get the free time off.
A dangerous game to play because the sample is still analysed at the lab and if the levels are above the expectations of the the questions asked as to what medications you've taken you find yourself suspended without pay and under the conditions of the rest of the policy before you may return to work.

Part of the contract with working at the Convention Centre is random drug and alcohol tests. This is due to effectively working above the rail lines, albeit 20 - 30m above.

The wieners on facebook getting their knickers in a knot over the census and concerns about privacy.
Yet they reveal more to Facebook about themselves than the Census actually asks.

It is pretty funny. Not forgetting how much info the govt already has due to their taxes. And, as you pointed out, a ddos isn't a hack and doesn't steal anything.

Jasmine's Indoor Netball team. Just friends from school playing in an adult league, getting smashed every week and living it. It's two grades combined till the finals and enough teams have pulled out and joined in that they made the finals. Played the same team tonight who they played last week who physically great the crap out of them (bruises, a bloody nose etc) and one of the kids parents heard the ref telling them they need to ask the other team....

They played an unqualified player, and Jasmine's team after the game was given the choice to dq them or not? They weren't going to till they found out it was the semi's and it would put them into the final.

The really amusing thing is if the team hasn't played the player, they still would have flogged the kids. And if they'd done what the reef told them and asked, the kids would have said sure!

This. As part of a conference I went to a few years ago one of the key speakers was about literally using facebook to get information about potential clients up front to guide the conversation. By using information starting on facebook he was able to get the VISA card details of the chairman of a LARGE company listed on a "secure" pdf on a charities website. He called up the chairman, compared numbers...chairman cancelled card on stage.

I used this same process to show my young nieces how easy it would be for me to get information about them to use against them. It took me 15 minutes to find out information about one of their friends that they didn't know about just to prove how simple it was.

Facebook gives the start, smart google searches do the rest. Potential client, looked them up, did some searches. Found out their son had just competed at the Narrogin Swimming Carnival and won gold. Not only that the mother was into the horse riding scene in a small town near where I live. Narrogin was my home town, my family was big in the swimming scene. Meeting took place. "So do you have any hobbies, sports like Swimming or Cycling?"

Totally innocent question. They start talking about swimming and how well their son does. I mention I grew up in Narrogin and used to compete, that my mum used to run the competitive swimming. They love it, start talking. I then change it slightly to say "I don't do that anymore, I started golf and the other half is into horses so that takes most of our time "HEY..we are into horses too"....REALLY...what a coincidence. My pop used to race and train trotters etc....35 minutes later...new clients.

So Facebook may not have enough information, but it has a start that leads to many many other things not just stealing your identity. Use it, just be aware of it.

When you are in a group on social media & they are selling a product & you comment about it. Then they get the sooks & involve other people & then ban you, because they don't like what you said.....grow up

What a joke, these people should grow a set.....

I was doing my semi-regular walk along the Richmond River breakwall today. The water was really clear and clean, so I could see the fish. Mullet, I think, but I'm no expert.

There were tons of them, right along a stretch of about 500m. They were everywhere, except for two 50 metre gaps, which happened to be where the fishermen were. Maybe fish are smarter than we think.

The dude yesterday sitting at an intersection waiting for the right turn light when it was during the time window you can't turn right there! He burned off at the next green to get in front of us going straight ahead, then took a right at the 2nd street to keep going the way he wanted. Cept the 2nd street is a Court and a dead end. I had a little smile.

2nd Champs down and witnessed for two years running a putt into a bunker.
Must admit I was in the exact same position as last years participant but refused to bring out the putter as much as my chipping game was off.

I find it funny that the cheapest I could find a clicgear in oz was $335 delivered.

Just ordered one from UK at $273 delivered, with bonus wheel cover!! Delivery 3-4 working days too.
