Its a shame Lydia Thorpe left, i thought she did a great job representing them.

Agree, Blakey. Lidia has all the qualities I associate with the typical green voter.

I particularly like her confidence and lack of any self-doubt. She knows she is smarter that everyone else, and it is her duty to save us from ourselves.

How is this different from any Politician from any side... Greta seemed to make some inroads, may as well copy the template.

Generally I think the right balance is someone with a little bit of all of them mixed together.
I guess that's why we have an upper and lower house? Checks and balances, I guess.....

I would suggest he take up a sport to get some of that anger under control! Something relaxing, maybe golf?

The third socialist dictator in the Southern seas to resign inside of one year whilst still at their "peak", all citing virtually same reasons.

    Voluntary retirement... yeah sure.

Palashyct ( whatever) has been riding on the Olympics glory for a year, no chance she gave that up easily.

I think the reason they're all "voluntarily retiring" is politico speak for "I'm just ****ing fed up with dealing with all the ****ing tinfoil hat wearing ****ing nut jobs that just seem to be multiplying, getting more and more stupid with every passing day."

Can't say I blame them. The general public is dumber than ever and it's only going to get worse. We're in for a world of hurt.

What is most funny, is isn't Queensland the most conservative state? Yet over the last 25ish years we've only had about 3 years of LNP governance?
I don't think it's been because Labor has been so fantastic, but because the LNP haven't offered anything up worth voting in, and when they did they borked the shit out of it.

Mostly driven by the concentration of lefties in the SE corner. I think 3 federal seats in SEQ are held by the Greens.

Yeah, but that's not the whole state, just 3 seats. And my dad, the ex accountant voted for one of them last election, and I have no clue how he's ever voted in the past.

SEQ commands more than 2/3rds of the state seats. And the overwhelming SEQ vibe is labor and greens (Mostly in Brisbane).

This is how the electorates went last state election. Maybe 5 or 6 labor seats elsewhere in the state.

Cook, Townsville and Rocky I think are all Labor.
Regardless, maybe we're not the most conservative state anymore? Or we are? Maybe not?
Maybe when it comes to DLS (think of the cows and the curtains).
