I thought a minimum five round offering was the norm these days.

Ladies, Gentlemen and the rest of Ozgolf, after much negotiations and discussions the dates for NSW Champs 2016 on the Murray River has been decided for 19-21 August 2016 (Gammon I'm saving you cake money). To secure our spots I will need $50 deposits per person ASAP ( Refundable). Total package is $228 which will includes accommodation (Quad Share in a 2 bedroom room), 3 games of golf, 2 dinners, 2 breakfast and lunch on the Friday.

Friday Warm Up - Tocumwal (includes lunch)
    Sat - Cobram Barooga
    Sunday - Black Bull

At this stage we are going to cap it at 24ppl, but more can be added if we get deposits in quick.

    Thanks!!!

What's the plans for accommodation? i.e. where are we staying??

Any reasoning behind Tocumwal and leaving Yarra out of the mix? Yarra the best course down there IMO?

We are staying at El Sierra, I went with them cos they are nice and cheap and have room for us.

Only 36 at Yarra from memory.

El Sierra... sounds very Mexican! I kind of meant in which town, but I found it. Looks very mexican also... The rooms look "interesting" particularly with the spa next to the bed?!

Yes, I do, and I thoroughly recommend it to other people.

As for me, I can't commit to anything at this early stage.

If I go at all, I might make a full week of it and play everywhere, so if anyone wants to stay extra and play more games, I might be in that.

I've stayed there on all 4 golf trips I've done up there over the years. While it may not be glitzy and 5 star it's a good place to stay for a group of guys on a golf trip and the owners are very helpful getting things organised. As far as trips go, for quality of golf courses, meals and accommodation included it is a very cheap trip in comparison.
At the end of the day we'll either be on the golf course or in the Sportsmans Club (free bus shuttle every hour from the motel) so only need a bed and some where to have breakfast.

Bluu, I've just sent my deposit.

Holidays for work are locked in the calendar.
Just need to decide how many extra days travel up and back I may want to do. I've always wanted to add Robinvale and Redcliffs to my played list. Well depend on how many Torana parts I can sell.
The crew I used to go with, were there again October just been and it's still just as good according to them.

Going to try. As mentioned prior it is a crap time of year for me with winter kids sports... but I've just had to cancel another golf trip I usually do each year, so hoping to push for this one. I'll let you know ASAP...
