For the record, the Confederates are currently winning the war, with the score at 2 battles to 1. This year looms large as the Union would hate to go 2 battles down again, where as the Confeds would be loathe to let all their hard work over the first 2 years to go to waste.

Well, this year I figured we could pair you against Simmsy again, and after you ignore the match play score for the 4th time on the 8th hole of the day Simmsy snaps a wedge over his knee and stabs you to death with the shaft.

Because you technically lose all the remaining holes, Simmsy takes his second ever OZgolf matchplay victory. Unfortunately you were paired with Ferrins for the day, so the Union still win the 4B pairing due to what I hear has been some amazing handicap farming on his behalf.

If you've seen my short game you would know that I don't need to make excuses.

I wasn't disheartened though - I looked that way because I was genuinely worried for the safety of oldracer after seeing the looks Petey and Shazza were giving him.
