Here's me with an 8 iron.

I am making progress. Apart from the flip. I also don't nearly fall over like the last one I posted.

Works for me. The swing looks better than your handicap suggests.

Nice swing....i am worried for the matchplay now.

I know you said you have been having lessons so won't put out any thoughts on advice here, what has the pro got you working on? Just the flip?

When I started I would set up by sticking the ball in the middle of the wide stance and bending at the waist. I was the classic swaying, reverse-pivoting overswinger. So in that sense I have come a long way and I am very happy.

The aim now is to become a little more "dynamic". The hitter in me wants to come out still and we're trying to get me swinging and getting more results with less effort. I still need to get my weight moving forward better and getting my forearms rotating properly through the impact.

Bruce...what do you mean by dynamic. I am a bit confused by your description?

It's his word and I think it's about getting all the potential energy stored at the top translated into the ball with the minimum additional effort.

Got to stop that right hand taking over to try and add force.

    Toolish,
After watching him in action at Southern, except for maybe 2 holes I think he is around the 12-14 mark.

You should be a little afraid.

Sorry, I just posted a comment on the wrong video.

However, I would agree with Connico and like to see a down-the-line video.
