Hamilton Island - September 20 2015

Hi Everyone

a couple of us have decided to play Hamilton Island. We will also arranging a game at Mackay Golf Club as well to tie in and possibly Pioneer Valley if time permits.

No definite times yet, but I would like it sooner rather than later in the year.

My place is available for accommodation, if I haven't sold it before hand.

Is anyone keen? Price is $200 for golf and ferry transfer from Hamilton Island to Dent Island. The golf course is actually on Dent Island. Its 10 minutes by ferry from Hamilton Island. Airlie Beach or Shute Harbour to Hamilton Island is about 45 minutes.

If I have an idea on numbers I can try and arrange the order we do it in. At this stage if we are a small group, one option will be flights into Mackay, then my dual-cab to Airlie Beach and stay a night there.

This is locked in. Mackay Saturday 19th September 12 midday tee-off in Comp; Hamilton Island Sunday 20th September 10am tee-off.

Do you mean the Mackay Open, which is 36 holes, or the City Of Mackay Pro-am, which is 72 holes and a $100,000 tournament for the pros?

Pro-am is 16, 17. 18, 19 July

I so obviously meant Mackay open cos I am going to LA on 16 July. ( sorry Grunt, I couldn't resist. But I really am. ) 72 holes plus a trip to HI might be a bit if a slog for an old fella like me, even though the pro am would be better event. Do choppers play all 4 days? I think they do

We will be playing Sunday 20th September at 10am. There is one spot. Cost is $200. Includes return ferry from Shute Harbour.

Whoever takes the 4th spot will need to pay in full and there will be no refunds if you pull out.

Anyone wanting to play, accomodation at my place is fine. Transport Mackay to Shute harbour is included. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity guys.

Edit: If you can get one of the early flights via Brissy on sat morning, we can make an Ozgolf super group in the Mackay GC Saturday Comp.
