    Default Demoed the BLUE

took one hit with the Blue Stiff in the R580 (jpn), and I'm sold!!!

didn't think I could handle it, but man...it was sweet...
I couldn't feel the shaft flexing, and it was just nice and stable thru the shot

(wow, how much can I tell from one hit??? )

anyway, has lined me up with a couple of options...

thinking of reshafting the K with a EI-70(2) shaft, or just getting a TM driver with a blue in it already...
    what's the better option???

Mau, unless you're a monster .... grab a reg Blue.

heaps better feel, still pretty stout for a reg shaft

The regular Blue is pretty much a stiff blue with regular written on it.

I know a guy who has an R580 with a Blue X flex in it (he smashes it), and he says its the best hes hit ever, but I have hit a 983K with the Blue and it went pure.

My suggestion? Hit as many balls as you can with as many different combos with shafts and heads as you can, its the only way you'll find something you like.

The Graf blue plays stiffer in an SMT than normal club due to the longer hosel, while they are stout no doubt (hehe) the are reknowned for being tight...just as you found Mau

the reg blue flexes quite a bit when I do my mcmw-flex-test...

I hit some great drives yesterday, but also some ordinary ones towards the end...seemed like I was swinging a piece of liquorice...

will prob end up reshafting the K next week, after I reshaft the TM200 with the 35s...(980F is a so so 3wood, nothing special!)
