    Today's bag selection;
Driver: Adams Fast 12 LS 9.5* with NVS K Reg
    3 Wood: Adams Fast 11
Hybrids: Adams 9031 Black Hybrid 18*, TM SLDR TP 21*
    Irons: Titleist AP1 4i, Adams CB3 with Program 8.1 5-9i
    Wedges: Cleveland RTX 46*, Yururi 53* & 61*
    Putter: Yes Sandy 12 Mid

    Yesterday's bag above.

I ended up with 36 points after a slow start, but it could have been so much better.

The Adams Fast 12 LS continues to work for me. This is a 9.5* version, but I don't notice much difference to the 10.5* head. The NVS K shaft is a real noodle, but it just seems to work for me. It is supposed to be "Japanese flex", but I reckon it is on the ladies side of A Flex! Perhaps it is the light weight in this light weight head, but I hit them very straight with this combo. I must try it in some of the other Fast Fit heads and see how it goes?

It is the same shaft in the Fast 11 3 Wood, but the combo isn't quite right for me as yet. Same noodle type shaft, and I make good contact, but I just can't seem to aim it, and straight pushes are more often than not the result. Not what you want when you set up aimed left for a draw!

The Adams 9031 Black is a sweet Hybrid. Nice compact head, and low stinger like flight is very handy in the wind.

The CB3s arrived last week and I have lengthened them to near 2" over to make them looong and hefty, see my MOI Matching thread. Wow, just wow! Love this combo, I have barely missed the middle so far. I thought the Program 8.1s might be too light for my fast transition, but these are very rigid shafts and they just feel right in this set up. I can hit them very low, or high as needed, and they feel very solid and smooth.

I played some good golf, but I didn't quite manage to get it done yesterday to finish with an 83/74. Much to do with me, little to do with the equipment, which performed very well

The Fly Z+ performed very well. See my post in the Cobra Fly Z for details, a bit of tuning got this Driver working very well for me and I barely missed a FW all day.

The Adams 9031 Black works very well for me, I like it a lot. Ditto the TM SLDRs.

I reported on the MOI rebuild of the CB3s in the MOI matching thread. They performed very well, with not a mishit all day! Except I had a case of the pulls again, though not consistently, so results were a bit varied!

The Cleveland 46* is one of my favorite clubs, fitting in nicely with the Yururis. Being my PW, I use it for full shots and I hit some rippers with it yesterday. I only managed to convert one to a bird, but not from lack of opportunity! It is also my go to recovery club around the green most of the time and I find I mostly have great control of pitches or chips with it as needed.

Only 3 weeks since the greens were cored, so there are still plenty of bumps, but there is no doubt the heavy Sandy 12 makes a lot easier to putt and get them close on these type of greens.

A very solid round today, that could have been a lot better, but for a little hiccup with alignment for a few holes. I finished with 36 pts, with a wipe. 3 birds, but could have been a few more. A few 3 putts on slow greens was also a little bit of a let down.

The Cobra Bio is a ripper. I think it is quite similar to the Fly Z + with weight back. And the shorter shaft and lead tap ( see the Fly Z + thread) have transformed it to a real fairway finder, with plenty of length on tap if you want to crank one up. I have a Fly Z head in transit, so the comparison will be very interesting! And there is a Bio Cell + in the collection as well! The G30 will start to feel left out!

The Cleveland Launcher is my favorite 3 wood at present, a real fairway finder, with plenty of length as well.

I tinkered with the 9031 black the other day, added 1/2" or so the length, which also bumped up the heft just a touch. So far the results have been very positive, liking it a lot.

Refer my MOI matching thread re the CB3 build. These irons are seriously good, and I am hitting them, very, very cleanly. Lots of greens in reg, and any misses are usually very close. I am surprised how well the Matrix Programs are working for me, they have been a revelation for someone who usually plays heavy steel shafts. A few more sets in transit! Let's see if I an replicate the build in another set (or two) of heads! I also have a set of 130s I got off Benno, that need to get a run. I just need to choose what heads, and get some time to do the builds!

I still have so many clubs still to trial! It will take me all of next year just to get through them! Plus some more on the way as well! I really need to do a big clean out!

Hmmm, an interesting round yesterday, from both a club and player point of view.

I made a good par on the first, which is always a good start at Reddie Bay. Then managed to somehow triple the 2nd without bad shot being hit!. Then I locked it in and proceeded to par the rest of the 9 in regulation. Hit fairway, hit green, 2 putts, pretty boring really.

We were playing as a 3, and the 3rd pulled the pin at the turn, supposedly after a message from the wife! I managed to keep the roll going for another couple of holes, then the field slowed up. Lost control of Driver momentarily and that resulted in bogey. Then couldn't get off the train for most of the remaining holes, despite still striking the ball well and hitting most of the fairways. I need to get better controlling my tempo when play get slow. Finished with a par for 36 points, solid golf, but could have been so much better.

The Fly Z + went well, it is very easy to use and very straight, and also quite forgiving (weight back). The PL Blue matches well with it, though I reckon the Blue in the Bio Cell is the ducks nuts for me. Can't wait to try the Fly Z and see where it fits.

I have MOI matched the i5s and the difference was noticeable. They have always been one of more favored sets, but now feel totally consistent through the set, and ball striking wise, I was flushing them.

This turned out to be a pretty average round score wise, I just couldn't get a roll on, and putting lipouts killed most of my up and down chances. Conditions were steamy and with the threat a rain, I jumped into one of my playing partners carts. Not my preferred way of playing, but I was going to be the only one walking otherwise. It did contribute to my struggles though, as I don't seem to be able to maintain my tempo when carting it, plus I seem to pull the wrong club at times with the bag reversed, which cost me a couple of shots yesterday.

The Bio is becoming one of my favorite drivers. Plenty long, easy to work and I seem to catch it out of the middle more often and not, now that I have shortened the shafts up. The PL Red is similar to the Blue, just a touch tighter in the tip, which helps dispersion a touch.

The MOI match Clevelands went really well when they got the chance. As mentioned elsewhere, my biggest issue was clubbing them as they are strong lofts, and with the long and hefty set up I am hitting them long. At least a club longer, up to 2 at times. The 4 iron is my favorite club in the set, a real weapon when you need to step on one, and I can hit it high or low as needed, making it very versatile.

It depends. Assuming you know what your favorite club is, and/or your target MOI is, it then depends on things like how easy the grips are to remove. The actual measuring only take a couple of seconds.

We got washed out Wednesday, so this bag finally got a run yesterday in the Black Marker. Not a lot to report, swing was pretty ordinary and my score reflected that. I would like to blame the company, but will have to take the blame in this case. I struggled with a driver, though FIR was about average. Never really put myself into good positions, the few times I did I managed to make par. The Driver was working fine on Monday, so the Driver of the Driver was the problem.

The TM TPs were working hard to get the ball back into play more often than not, so didn't see the best of them. I did hit a nice approach into 17, that will bring me back though.

    Next round today, another off the Blacks. Bag chosen as follows;

Driver: Ping G30 LS with Tour 65 Reg
    3 Wood: Cleveland Launcher
Hybrids: Adams 9031 Super Hybrid 18*, TM SLDR TP 21*
    Irons: Cleveland 588TT 4i, Adams CB3s with Program 8.1 5-9i
    Wedges: Cleveland RTX 46*, Yururi 53* & 61*
    Putter: SC Kombi
