NSW Champs 26-28 June 2015
I'm out and about at the moment but I've made a few inquiries and will add details tonight.
The dates are a lock as are the courses and accommodation just waiting for confirmation prices once we get final numbers as they have to figure out how many cabins we need.
There is a $15 a game prize fee.
Friday - Horizons 10.30am (optional warm round)
Saturday - Pacific Dunes (round 1) - 10.30am Groups
$60 for Walking - Add $15 for Cart -
Sunday - The Vintage (round 2) - 9am - 5 groups
$98 including Cart and Range balls. We can get extra groups if needed, but they will before 9am.
Thoughts at the moment is to book dinner at a pub in Stockton for Friday night and then we can do a BBQ as a group on Sat night.
Cabins are available at Stockton Caravan Park for around $50-70 a night for 3 or 5 share.

Well done people, sounds like a tough day out and a lot of alcoholic beverages were consumed to dull the pain??

Peppas and I were even at the last. I got my only birdie of the day to keep Naga at bay. Little did we know Dotty was doing a Dustin Johnson behind us to snatch the Naga away from both of us.

Thanks Stu
Thanks all for a great weekend of average scoring.
I think I played pretty shit, but everyone else played shitterer!
The biggest stuff up I had yesterday was not publicly thanking Binh for his organising the golf, the accommodation and the glut of prizes. Thanks mate.
Thanks to my drinking buddies on Friday night...much fun, much beer and much hangover which kicked in about the 4th at Pacific Dunes.
Thanks to my playing partners Jim, Eca, Bruu x 2, Stu and the flusher from Kooindah Matty3jabby. No one who hits the ball like that should be beaten by a chopper like me!
Sorry to those that were torn a new one by Pacific Dunes on Saturday...it can be a bit nasty at times.
Looking forward to next years, especially if the proposed venue comes off.
Cheers

First up thanks to Blu who organised it all, great amount of prizes and the like for the weekend.
Friday Horizons was great. Thanks to Gammon, Blu and Benno for the round. The course was a lot better than people were talking about, really really enjoyed it.
Saturday at Pac Dunes, thanks Stu, Gammon and KJ for the round. Tough course, reminded me of why i left Kooindah to go to shelly beach.
Sunday at Vintage, thanks to Blu, Stu and the champion Haystacks for the round. Great win Billy! Great course too.
I hit the ball well from tee to 100m, after that it was the usual stuff which led to some bigger scores than i felt i was capable of having, but thats golf.
Great night out friday night, and good catch up with all saturday night. The stories will haunt me for a while longer (thanks Jim and Gammon)
Thanks to BITS for the driver shaft fitting, it worked well. And to Lipout for my set built up, first run with the irons went a lot better than expected.
And finally, the Axis1, what a machine. Havent had more fun holding onto my shaft, showing it off and spinning around in a long time, especially to a group like you all......................... no homo.
Cheers all

It's easy to be critical when you've never been in the situation but hopefully one day you too may understand how difficult it is to be humble when you win.

Don't worry about it Pepps, anyone who says that about you obviously hasn't played with Jammy Johnny Canuck.

Wow, where do we start.....
After a lovely drive to Horizons we where greeted with perfect golf weather, and the course to everyones amazement was in pretty good nick!
I really enjoyed it, even after totally chopping it up.
Friday evening was a cracker, thanks Stacks for the little journey on the ferry into Newy another side I've never seen of the place.
Dinner and beers at The Grain Store was great, and due to Gammons antics Ive never laughed so hard in a long time!
The late night pool with the stalking security guard back at Stocko topped the night off....
Didn't enjoy sat golf at all (sorry Stacks) , just a brutally penal track, don't know how you do it week in week out, now wonder you have no hair!
I did enjoy the beers and pizza, and recounting the night before and pissing myself laughing at Gammons wild tales.....
I really enjoyed The Vintage (thanks for organising SMS), could have played another 18....
Sorry to all my playing companions over the weekend for my appalling golf, i'll chalk it down to a new coach and trying to play with too many swing thoughts in my head
Thanks to Bluey and Stacks for all the organisation, and everyone for chipping in for the prizes etc....
Great weekend, shame more guys couldn't get there, but you missed a cracking good time.
The Captain.

Yep, cracking couple of days with near perfect weather that was the polar opposite of my game.
Mixed feelings about Pac Dunes from me. There were a few good holes, but tightness of the design meant that even though I was generally not too far off line with my errant tee shots, I was reloading.
Sat night was excellent. Some cracking tales indeed!
Vintage was in fine nick. And I've just reminded myself to go check in at another thread as a result of my opening tee shot...
My utmost apologies re. lack of putting comp. I think my general enthusiasm had waned a bit after finishing off on Sat, and time was a bit against us yesterday. If there's a large single day event organised in the rest of the year we'll have it there.
