    Default Full Swing Launch Monitor

    Hi Guys

just got the full swing launch monitor a few days ago. Absolutely love it pretty much same stats as a trackman but 1/3 the price without the crazy yearly subscription.

Just wondering if anyone else has one or is looking at getting one. Im on the Gold Coast if anyone wants to demo mine.

Are you using it at home or driving range?

Mine says full swing as the brand name, its designed by Tiger Woods to take on Trackman and is distributed in Australia by Big Swing Golf.

How many extra $K for the Tiger endorsement?
It would want to be very good and accurate for that price.
Add on the e6 package and you’re nearly at 10K.

    Nice!

I got the Garmin R10 for Christmas.

Combined with the awesome golf app the stats are enough for me.

Yours would be far more accurate no doubt!
    In the bag

    Taylormade Stealth 2 9.0 - AD DI 7X, Taylormade Sim 5 wood - AD DI 8X, P790 2/5-GW S300 AMT, Taylormade Hi Toe 53/14, 57/14, 60/10, Taylormade Spider, Taylormade 2018 staff bag

$800 for the R10 v $8K for the Full Swing.
You’d sure want there to be much more accuracy.

had it running along side the GC hawk and GC quad and numbers were pretty much identical spin rates were about 200 different on average. It’s more like a track man than a simulator. I think for the price compared to the track man at $34k and the GC quad it’s a pretty good deal.

More accuracy, but also more measurements. Depends what you're trying to do. R10 is fine for getting some data at the range (mevo+ with all data unlocked is better as it measures more club data). The dearer units separate themselves if you want really high accuracy, or are building a simulator. For example, a gc3 is way better than skytrak/mevo for a sim build - but also costs a fair bit more. Radar based LMs like the mevo and the Full Swing needs a lot more space though - my 6.5x6.5 garage wouldn't be big enough if I wasn't using a camera-based system.

R10 and Mevo+ only guess spin axis (sideways spin) in a net situation, that is why I sold my R10 and switched to a Rapsodo mlm2 Pro which can measure spin axis accurately with the dot balls in a net and also doesn't need as much ball to net distance to measure higher ball speeds.

Note - I can't remember 100% if the RCT balls makes a difference to spin axis for the Mevo+ but pretty sure when I was researching it was still getting the occasional direction completely wrong and also not showing the bigger curved shots incorrectly.

They both do measure launch start direction pretty well.
