Just rent the LM at your club for an hour and do your distances. Much cheaper

Turns out they don't have one. I can hire their tech centre if it's not being used, so might try that some time. But just went to the range to do some distances and it wasn't pretty!!

Yeah, there is actually. The local driving range has top tracer too. But there's still something about hitting the balls you use off of the turf you use.

I've got a MEVO+ that I run off an ipad hitting into a net in my garage.

Spent about $4k in total on the setup and it got a LOT of use during lockdowns.

I would have preferred to spend less but I didn't want a launch monitor I couldn't trust.

The MEVO+ is an awesome little unit.

House garage? I was looking into saving for one of these to setup in my shed, but read metal can interfere with them.

Metal is no good mate, my mevo+ does not like my shed at all and numbers are terrible. Out in the paddock the thing is a beast and really trust the data

I'm on 2 acres, and my shed has a car port, do you think if I set a net up under or next to the car port it would work? Trying to work out if it is just metal in its line of site and how to setup a semi permanent driving bay.

Uneekor announced the Eye Mini at this years PGA show. Nearly 12 months ago but they've been pretty much silent about it since. There was a teaser from them about 6 months ago but nothing since.

There was no commentary about pricing so not sure where it fits with Skytrack v GC3. I'm hoping it'll be cheaper than the GC3 but better than Skytrack as I'm looking for one once our new house is built.

GC3 is great, but expensive. Skytrak is really good for the price, I had one for a while (before upgrading to the GC3).

Just watched a video comparing a Skytrak and a Garmin R10 to an Uneekor (don't remember the model) using a RCT ball, and the R10 was within 2.5% for carry and spin compared to the Uneekor, and 5.x% for the driver. I think it even beat out the Skytrak, I believe it got and update for the RCT ball a while ago, and sounds like the little R10 isn't too bad at all.

Anyone have an R10 that can give some feedback?

I don’t know your shed setup, but I have been doing some research for setting up a radar LM in a shed, and if you are having interference Flightscope apparently recommend using the metal fly screen, used in screen doors and windows, behind your screen to stop signal reflections, also if you have fluro lights between the net and LM they can cause issues, but LED lights are fine.
I would imagine the fly screen could be used to resolve most reflective areas.

yep, got the first Rapsodo which i still reckon is pretty good but this with the sim. Definately looking close at it for a purchase late this year.
