I am amazed at how the police can piece together some of these things. With the way it all ended, I didn't think there was a chance at it being solved.

Very sad ending by the sounds of things.

For those who don't know, the victim, Shaun, was a member of OZgolf, who attended several OZgolf events including a few Champs.

I find it very disturbing to read these things about someone I know. It's terrible.

He was also a winner of the yellow jacket masters. It is disturbing when something like this happens to someone you know.

We are exposed to the nasty element of the human race in the news, movies and TV so often these days.
Make's it a whole lot more real when it's happens to someone you've met personally or are related to doesn't it?

It's good the offenders have been caught. Lets hope they are penalised adequately.

A further update. When you consider that many of us knew him, the descriptions may be a bit graphic.

You can't fathom people doing this to anyone, but when you've met them it seems too real. RIP mate. Crucify the bastards. The witness was high on ice during the time. When will drug usage stop being used as an excuse?

I liked GC even though he used to win all our bets. This is very disturbing and I feel very sad for his family and friends. RIP GC

No. But it says he was with them when they realised he had passed away. So what was he doing with them at that time. Maybe, just maybe he had no involvement. But maybe he's just flipped on them to look after his own hide. And don't you hear enough about people stoned out of their minds using it as an excuse and I had no control. Just pisses me off, lame arse cop out.

If course, they might not have them without him, so really, I know jack shit.

Pretty sure that judges treat drug/alcohol induced crimes as committed with fully unimpaired intent, even if they say they can't remember or out of charActer.
