Default Extra Warm Up Rounds - Barnbougle 3 & 4 Feb

    Ok

Nudgee Daves NK & Myself are going to do a snappy warm up at Barny before the Vic Champs.

From Bris it is only a few extra $ to get to Vic and lets face it when you are that close you should take the option.

We have at least one extra Ploppy Pat who has returned to golf after deciding he is too old for the nubile ones in volley ball.

We are flying into Launceston on the Monday afternoon, driving up and staying at Lost Farm then playing LF (all day Tuesday) then Barny (36 holes) on Wednesday before a leisurely flight to Melbourne on Thursday morning where the adventurious will play Thursday afternoon.

    So who else is keen.

Our accommodation and golf is booked so you need to consider these arrangements:
Tuesday 0730 and 1330hr and same Wedneday are our tee bookings, accommodation is at LF and is $225 twin share queen room. Golf was $140 each day. Arrive 2/2 depart 5/2/

Who is in to make up either 2 groups? The extra tee time will need to get booked soon to sort it out.
    Cheers
    Craig

10 is not an issue. 2 x 3 and 1 x 4. Not exactly uncommon in any weekend comp field!!!

I will definitely play this if I come to the Vic champs also, I just can't commit this far out as I have other things coming up about the same time.

I am sure others are thinking about tagging along, add ya name to the list, the more the merrier encourages more to join in!

With just over a month to go here are the pairings so far - looking at combination 4BBB Aggregate/Singles over the 72 holes mixing the groups.

    Pairings for this so far:

    Ned/Hux
    DaveS/Nudgee
    Ploppy Pat/BenM
    PtP/Braddles
    RS x 2

Sorry Ned, I missed your earlier post.

Definitely in for the Wednesday, Tuesday is dark pencil. I haven't actually booked that day off (and can't until back at work on the 5th). Can't see it being a problem though, I'll be due for an RDO about then.

Yes you can play off the stick. I will play off my adjusted handicap of 42

Really looking forward to the trip.

Any more takers. Another 2 will make it full groups.

Is there some warm up rounds at putt putt? Need to boost my confidence a little before I get another butt hole torn that weekend!

I should also mention... While I will most likely get a leave pass for golf both days, I don't have one to stay up there for the night....so I'll have to drive home afterwards. Sorry....

Probably a good thing - for me - I will be forced to control my alcohol intake in the lead up to the champs.

No probs Ben. Will be a nice warm up regardless. How long does it take to drive from Launy to Barny?

I'd allow an hour Hux, though it can be done a little quicker if you go the back way and don't get held up by too many slowpoke tourists

    Hux et al...

Sorry to say this but work are playing the man and not the ball and are refusing to give me the time off for this!
I am going to have to pull out.

Sorry is an understatement! It will be a great few days.
Not sure if Braddles will come now as we were sharing transport. I will ring him today!
