Rory v Tiger pairing. Hell yeah. Nothing better to watch IF (and that's a big IF) the two of them don't choke.

Cool. Always wondered about it. In other sports like basketball or American football, they'd watch game film to prepare for their opponents.

Well that was exciting. Particularly JR almost losing then retaking the Fedex cup with a birdie on the last.

Too bad Rory completely choked and was a non factor. Was hoping for more fireworks. But so pumped that Tiger won number 80! Can hardly believe I'd see the day when he would be back!

Very happy for Tiger, golf is better with him competing and contending.

Tiger is definitely back and golf is definitely better for it, except for the shit commentators, like during sat round where Tiger was leading by 2 or 3 shots and they still talked about the flaws in his game and Rory was trailing and they were say how well he was playing.....

Commentators talking about a bloke who’s not leading the tournament and not devoting enough time to the bloke who is?

    That’s unbelievable.

Who woulda thunk. He was Masters favorite after round 3, or was it 2.

If you cant win a Major, I think he picked the next best thing... his first nine holes yesterday were just awesome.

Also happy for JR, he has played great golf this year and last year and the year before that. Wonderful human being too.

Bring on the Ryder Cup !!!

Can we please get a mod to change the name of this Thread?

After this week there’s no doubt that the big cat is back. Anyone who has watched a bit of golf could see what was going on this morning. The crowds were incredible and the response from the golf world has been emphatic.

It took this week to erase the doubt that he was back? He's been back the entire season and put himself in contention many times. He was ranked 647 in January, entered the FedEx Cup ranked 21 and now sits at 13. Even without a win this week, Tiger has played phenomenal this season and would likely pick up a win or two next season.

Did Justin Rose actually win the Fedex Cup? You wouldn't know from the media coverage.

Is there a way to find out what events TW isn't playing so I know which tourneys to watch? Thank christ he doesn't play Euro tour anymore.

If you’re only judging by coverage, it’s harder to work out where Tiger finished

What was so great a headline about Justin Rose playing 3 over on the last day and losing the number 1 spot in the official world golf ranking to Dustin Johnson who finished a stroke ahead of him in the tournament?
