Good on him, I suppose it’s not all about the $$$
Considering he’s won over $6m this year he could prob afford it....

Possible in money. In OWGR points, last place Brooks got 2.4 points. Top 14 in Aus PGA got more.

No tax in the Bahamas helps. Cam Smith probably managed to take home just more than Brooks still. Scotty likely got more than both just for turning up though and got the weekend off to go surfing.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Been a very long time since it was ever about the dollars.

Good return by Tiger. But outstanding final day by Ricky.

So far so good. Injury free it seems and made the cut which he had to grind impressively to do. On the downside he sprayed the driver and wasn't very precise wedging in but he is playing better around the greens (scrambling well) and shows more clubhead speed and distance than he has for a long time. Of course the bookies now have just three at lower odds than him for The Masters.

Haven’t bothered to post in this thread for a while, but I would’ve thought a T-23 was a decent return for Tiger this week, particularly considering how wayward he was with his driver.
If not for that late bogey today he could’ve snatched a top 20 finish. And over four days he didn’t shoot an over par round. If he can find more fairways with his driver (which he was getting right out there at Torrey Pines) then he could be looking at a win before too long.
Let’s see how he fares at the Genesis Open at Riviera. Will be interesting to see how many tournaments he plays between now and the first week of April.

If he tightens up a bit of loose play in the next handful of weeks he could potentially cause a bit of excite at some point in The Masters. If he gets near the leaderboard at any point that needle will be redlining.

15 tee he was 2 out of the lead on a really hard golf course. The next 2 days will be interesting viewing.

How good was Faldo commenting on tigers putter that it is the first putter he has ever seen that's worn out the sweet spot, so good. Trying to find a picture of it, when I see the replay I'll take one. GO TIGER!!!
