Did you have $30 on Tiger to balance it out in case he won?

Anyway i reckon it's a great first day back after so long. When he shakes off a bit of rust it will be interesting to see what he starts to shoot. He lot his tempo a bit with the driver later on but hopefully he can reign that in.

One things for sure, he moved the needle substancially.

How was his chipping, sounds like his old driver issues were a bigger issue.

I'll give him a pass for that 'duff'. Was a pretty tough shot. (That is if you're talking about the 9th)

Yep, and I agree. And he made up for it by stiffing the repeat.

All in all his irons and short game look to be on point. Especially in those conditions. Long game on the other hand was a just ok. Through 8 it was vintage, final ten were 50-50 I reckon. A couple of unplayable lies, a chip back and a water ball but as Hank Haney mentioned no 3 putts. Looking forward to watching the rest of the week.

A blow by blow account of Tiger's awesome second round. Everything was impressive, from tap-in birdies and near hole in one, to wicked up and downs to 25-footers to save par. This is very exciting...
