Gone and set up my account. All I need now is Santa to put one in my sack.
I'm going to run it side by side with my GetRealGolfStats subscription and see what kind of statistical analysis it gives me.
Seen you pop up Bushy
in the bag
Cleveland Launcher HB Turbo
RBZ tour spoon BT8M3 stiff
HB 910 19deg Matrix O white x stiff
Wilson staff FGV6 Tour Forged irons
wedges trusty tour 50; 54; 58
SC FB no1 or SC red X
and stuff in the pocketsT7M3 S
How much does it cost to keep all this going? Ie setup and ongoing? I have mobitee premium on my phone and with about the same effort as far as I can see it can track shots and score in real time but not accuracy etc. Would be interesting to be able to trial this system for a few weeks before buying.
There is going to be an ongoing subscription in the future I believe.
Just joined up.
Santa has one for me next week!!!

Have to find the new names and add them to my list
Also going to set up some more challenges and keep the results here. Maybe 1 month, 3 month and a year??
Might throw in some prizes and it's always fun to compete for something!
Hopefully they add new categories like fairways / scramble / putts in a round etc
The only problem with the challenges is there is no way to take handicap into account, so really the contest is only down to single figure markers.
I'm sure the engineers here could come up with some sort of quadratic formulae to even out the stats.

Copied over here from the Stats thread. Yes, it would be handy.
I am very impressed with the enhancements that GG have implemented already, seems there is almost a weekly upgrade happening. Every time I have a look at the analysis sections, there seems to be something new. You can now select specific round(s) for analysis for example. And with my Bag Lotto, I have mirade of individual club info now, as well as the ability to look at collective club results e.g. All Drivers.
I must check the game golf forums and see if anyone has already requested it
100%
Would be great to see how a hole is played. Like if you take driver you usually make bogey but if you take iron you make par 75% of the time. And would work in reverse by showing taking on the hole works most of the time etc
It's a great system. Love mine
I need to go back and read this thread, because I have just received mine.
What are the key things that I need to know?
What coalesce said, but it should be noted that I ended up preferring tagging post-shot as it created less disruption. Experiment and go with what works best for you.
Ensure you tag your clubs exactly the same as the setup in your Gamegolf settings. It might be worth considering adding an extra 'club' for stuff ups (ie. Mishits or shots that miss target by miles due to hitting a tree etc.).
Ok, just thinking back;
1) it takes a few rounds before tagging becomes an automatic action. If you forget to tag before the shot, and you will, you can still tag after the shot or putt. It is easy to fix up in need when you download the round. Ditto if you double or triple tag, which will also happen, very easy to delete the "extras" later.
2) Set up a mishit tag, if you don't want bad mishits to distort your distance stats.
3) When you download a round, you will likely need to do some slight adjustments of shots. The map overlays are usually out a little bit and some shots that were middle of the fairway, or green, will show as being well offline, and vice versa. Just note the length and then adjust the position till it shows FIR, GIR or whatever the actual situation. These adjustments tend to become a matter of course, and take very little time. I find it a good time to rewind my round in my head to make sure the stats are right.
