You probably need to email them. From what I've heard they are normally pretty good at getting back to you. I'd say its the software install that is the problem tho

Yes they are. Got in touch and we ended doing a Screen share session this morning. Seemed to be a Windows authorisation problem with the log folder, which they (Jason) was able to eventually fix for me. 1st round now downloaded, now to see if I can still remember all the shots i forgot to tag!

    OK, 2nd rounds in my initial observations are;

Very easy to use, but I am still struggling to remember to tap for every shot. I have been hesitant to tap too soon so far, but might start seeing how long before the shot i can tap and it will still work. Starting to remember that I can still tap after the shot.

The mapping of my home course seems to be wrong, in that they have some of the (adjacent) holes in the wrong sequence.

I wonder about the accuracy of the GPS, or perhaps more correctly the google overlay? it seems to be out quite a bit on a lot of shot positions. Which along with the wrong sequencing mucks with the statistical calculations.

It is surprising how few full shots I hit during a round.

Argh ... terrible conditions and terrible round for first run with Game golf. Avoided raising the bat by a lone shot. Poor ball striking all day. Positive was I didn't forget to tag once ... but I did tag twice on one shot (before and after)!

If in doubt, tag multiple times and delete them later!

I have found on some courses it is a bit ropey with getting the locations right but I suspect it is GPS problems. At the course we played today, nadg63 had problems with his GPS device and on review of my round on game golf so did I...

I was pretty happy with the GPS accuracy at my course ... A couple of minor adjustments but I think it got 95% of the shots mapped correctly. Post round edit function is great though easy to use.

Got a couple of rounds under my belt now. Slowly starting to get better at tagging, tagged about 75% of my shots in the last round as opposed to 50% in the first round. Tap in putts are the worst for remembering.

Wish there was some way to see average club distances from the analysis section.

I write down the number of putts on my scorecard for that reason so that when I edit the round I can easily add them on

That's a good idea ... I carried the putter tag in my pocket and tagged but it was a little clunky

Yeah but as far as I can tell, only on the main summary screen, and there you can't see when/which-hole a particular shot was when you hover over it. In contrast when you then go to "Analyse" you can see average distances off the tee and how far each individual shot went. But for everything else you cant see average club distances.

If I look at the main summary screen I can see that I have one really long 7 iron but can't tell which date/club/shot it actually relates to.

Suggest it to them. I've been meaning to suggest being able to see club distance regardless of whether it is off the tee or approaching the green, and ideally if it could show elevation change for each dot too. I'm just too lazy to have done it!

    Default Game Golf Review.

Have a look under my golf bag. I'm sure it gives you the long and short plus the average of every club you have tagged like this.

Could there be interference from wearing the GPS device on your belt?
I vaguely remember my Bushnell Neo taking a little while to update when I used to take it off my belt, no such issues now it's mounted to my buggy.
Maybe mounting the GPS unit to your buggy or bag might help.

I think nadg63's gps was buggy mounted. But yes I would imagine it is interference from something
