For an auto stats system seems to be a lot of ppl that need to go in after a round and tidy things up.

So I heard back from support and was finally able to submit my amazing round from last week.

Unbelievably, I'm not in last place in the OzGolf challenge - is the challenge total over/under across all your rounds in the time period, or just the best round?

    Few things:

    1. the best score, longest drive, most birdies badges don't seem to be updating since the first round i had

    2. the challenge we have seems to lend itself to least rounds played, unless it goes on an average

    3. i hate seeing how many fairways i miss!

    4. would love a 'pin' tag

    Default Game Golf Review.

I was wondering about the challenge but I think it might have something to do with the way it was set up. I have noticed that the G maps that are being used here ard about 5 years old. But after corresponding with G Golf it is not meant to be released to this area yet. So any help they are giving us in OZ is beyond what they expected.

Very interesting ... I noticed my course map was fairly old but still reasonably accurate.

Mine is good, but it may be why some are having trouble.

Looked at the challenge i made. counting all rounds not just the best round. i'll make a new one if people like. Maybe something different. GIR or birdies or putting?? or a best round wins with only best round counting

    opinions??

With the range of caps its hard to find something equitable really. Putting is probably the only one I could compete with you guys.

First round with it today and only forgot to tag twice and one of those was with a frustrating 3 jab. Other than that it worked really well, I just need to decide where in my routine I want to do the tagging.

The stats side of things is great so far and interesting to see some of the distances however its hard when you look at some shots knowing they were into a strong wind and then others that were down breeze etc.

Emailed game golf about some issues. Mainly being the fact the 'awards' not showing (longest drive, most birdies etc) and they said it was a bug they were fixing by the end of the week. Great service!

I got a similar response Matt to my query today ... Guy said he noticed the bug in his own round!

I had a bunch of detected shots in my round today ... said it was due to hip movement ... is this a new feature?

I had a couple of those as well. From memory they were at spots where I stood still for a minute (waiting for playing partners to have their shot before advancing to my ball).

I'm not big on practice swings but I wonder if it will pick these up

As far as I'm aware it doesn't have any accelerometer so I can't see how it could detect the movement.

I had a couple of "Detected" as well. I didn't notice any pattern to them.

I think it must Courty? I noticed on the round review it said that it detected hip movement. I definitely did forget to tag my second teeshot and it picked it up. I just am not sure how it knows what is/isnt a practice swing ... but maybe tagging overrides auto detect perhaps?
