****, forgot to do tips. I only would've picked up one from the Aus game anyway as would've tipped Spain and the draw between Cameroon and the Croats, but that one could be very important*.

There's quite a few (very different) definitions, but I think #3 applies http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Bimp
But that also prompted me to find this page: http://inspectorclouseau.com/lines.html

Much better than my 42... I thought soccer at a high level would be plenty of 1-0 and 0-0 scorelines. Clearly I know nothing.

Bimp for R16 picks.
There were 136 goals in the group stage.
Potential prizewinners at this stage:
1) 3oneday 28pts
2) Marto 27pts
Wooden spoon at this point: shazza_rs 20pts
Still 16 points to play for...

At this stage with only 16 points to play for I'd say it comes down to anyone who's 3 or less back can still win (which narrows it down to about 5 guys). 3oneday has been pretty consistent over the 3 rounds so clearly knows his stuff. Gonna take a good effort or a ballsy tip to snatch it from him, methinks. The guys on 24 are still a show, but would have to go damn near perfect home to win it.
I'm really regretting missing putting my tips in for the first 3 matches of Rd 2!

I only get half of what I win, the other half goes to my 12 year old Liverpool fanatic (who is very happy Suarez only got 13 weeks or whatever), even though he thinks he's a dick for what he did.

Bimp for 1/4 final picks.
4 players got all 8 R16 games correct: 3oneday, Marto, Lefty, Lucasto - Nice work!
Potential prizewinners at this stage are the same:
1) 3oneday 36pts
2) Marto 35pts
However I think the games are harder to pick from here...

Bimp for 1/2 final picks.
5 players got all the 1/4 final results correct: Marto, Xray, Lucasto, Buzz, 3oneday
Same top 2 as before:
1) 3oneday 40pts
2) Marto 39pts
With the next 2 players on 37 points, and only 4 points to play for, the prize winners are close to being nailed on, but would only take a 1pt swing for Marto to take the crown as he has been closer at predicting the margin games.
No pressure...

These two games are a lottery. An old Netherlands against a well balanced Argentina side missing di maria.
A solid German side against a Neymar and silva-less Brazil, yet with Hulk and a massively (and massive) impressive keeper in Cesar.
No idea really

If it helps (ie so you can do the opposite of me) I've tipped Germany and Netherlands but then I've gone against Brazil the whole tournament and been wrong

One prediction I'm fairly confident on is that they will be pretty cagey games. No one wants to lose a semi final
