Some mid 80's Titty's headed my way.
Will post some pics when they arrive.

Just won a Persimmon Driver and 3 wood to go with them. Very happy.

That would be great if you have some of those old Cobras laying around.

These ping eye 2's, the grooves were so sharp and deep, they would skin your ball after a few holes

How about that yellow acrylic looking King Cobra driver. That must be close to 1990. Surely there were some Ozgolfers that loved it?

Ha, was just talking about this very club on the weekend with a mate from Kapunda. John Daly was using one as he was caving the face of everything else at the time. He pulled up a pic of the Wild Thing in full swing with one as I'd never herd or seen one before. I found a heap of pics of one on the weekend. Not sure if I saved any but shouldn't be too hard to find again. I'll try tomorrow when home from work.

I just sold mine. Even though they were 20 years old I couldn't use a really soft spinny ball without watching short iron shots spin off the front of the green.

Look at these for the serious collector, made from the propeller of the QE2 ship

You would think better and more detailed photos would have been put up than that.

2000 sets. I know a ships prop is that big but enough for 18000 thousand heads (9irons 3-SW?)

Had a set of these once.

Can't believe I sold them. 2 - pw with s200 shafts, and a norman sw that was so soft, when having the clubs lofts checked the dood though the sw was broken it bent that easily. Sweet spot the size of a pin head, but they were gorgeous clubs.

I have a set of these making their way to the US for a reface, regroove, chrome and pimp.

They are pre 1990's, bought them 2nd hand off a past Cairns GC and Regional Golf Champ.

He played them until he was about 68, and used them quite often to shoot his age or better. (Courty may remember Milton Anning)

Mate, Where are you sending these to get done? thinking about getting a set redone as well.

These irons always remind me of Curtis Strange

I had one of those Cobra Ultramids.... Weird club. The Ti shaft was the best thing about it.

Had Prosimmon Hallmarks when I was a kid... 1-SW, S400's. So much fun.

Ram FX Tour Grinds (early 90's) were the next set. Still have them, faces all rusty from the wear spots.

I think it was a Kevlar composite head and a real white. I played a few different versions for a few years 91 -93.The titanium shaft was stiff as and produced in a stock 44.5 inch considering that 43.5 was stock back then it ripped.

I recall Milton from I played a few rounds with him during my time at in FNQ. He flushed it around Cairns one day to beat me and a handful of other local pros by a few shots nice guy! We would all like to hit it like Milton did in his twilight years.
Good to know his sticks are still going hope you can work the ball both ways like he did?

At long last the Persimmon Woods arrived that come from around the same era to make a matching set.
Will re-grip the irons before I have a hit with them. Was intending to hit the woods as well but they look so good I'm re-considering.
