How many posts to post in the pro shop

Only the guys who make it clear they are only interested in being here for the pro shop. We have seen 2 prime examples here in the last few weeks.

I have been seeing new guys get abused by the forum police and turned away for 10 years or so and its not always about the pro shop. It's a very common Internet forum issue and one that we can do without. It's stuff like this that gives us a bad reputation at other online communities.

Sorry Blakey, but the I am not seeing any issues that aren't pro shop related. I'd argue the the last 3 "blow ups" are all pro shop / selling rules related.

Apart from that I see a lot of quality interaction - both ways - from newbs and the forum alike.

That may be true of late. But the pro shop limit thing is relatively new for our 11yo forum. Plenty have been run out of town for all sorts of reasons.

While you may be an exception, if the limit were not in place, anyone could just join and use this place like a buy and sell.

40 posts is absolutely nothing. I am not sure how many times you have posted today, but you must have knocked off 10% of the requirement in about 38 seconds of total typing.

Blakey is right Benno. There is a long history of not being very friendly toward newer members that may have said one small thing to upset the masses.

Certain members are very protective of the forum; whilst others seem to carry a sense of entitlement.

As a long time reader of this site, there seems to be so many little complaints about the posting rules and then there seem to be a whole lot of gatekeepers that maybe want to be moderators so they stick their chests out. I've been on here for around 2 months if that and would have been lucky to make 10 posts in that time. I log in every day for a read if jot more. Today I logged in to post a TM SLDR 4 hybrid for sale and couldn't do so for the above reasons. I'm not keen on eBay fees as I takes the sale not worth the hassle - however I have no chance of making the required specs to post the sale.
