It's just you!!!OK, trying to tune a Jetspeed to play.
I have 10.5* head, and a number of TM adapter shafts, but I have never been able to hit it even remotely with any confidence. I hadn't used it in ages, so took it out yesterday for some practice holes and it felt horrible. Shaft was an MFTM Oban Kiyoshi TP that was OE in an R1 by the graphics, playing at 45" and D3 from memory. I had no idea where the head/face was (has been my previous experience also). I think the face angle freaks me out! and I am not swing well with it.
I didn't have these issues with the AeroBurner last week, though it is definitely a similar sort of head, and can even handle the Superfast 2.0 without great difficulty (though they are definitely fade monsters). I have some spare TM tips, so have shafted up a Prolaunch Red, and a Blue, and setting them up at close at factory specs as I can get i.e. 46" and D5/6 SW. Hoping this will give me some feel!!, but I ain't a fan of long shafted drivers I have to say. I can make most drivers work, but TMs have mostly been toughies for me. The Jetty seems to be one of the worst! The RBZ will probably get a run soon, I suspect the same issues will apply!
Is it just me, or are these things finicky to get right?
