I hadn't seen this thread for a while so I thought I'd have a 4 jack today just is I could give it a bump.

Par 3, 12th, my tee shot had run about 8-10 feet off the back of the green, chipped on and come up shorter than planned about 7 foot from the hole. First putt, brain fade, as I belt it through the break and end up 4-5 foot past the hole and leave myself with a nasty downhill putt, 2nd putt lips out and ends up 4 foot from the hole, 3rd putt lipped out again. Finally found the hole on the 4th putt and walk off in disgust with a 6 for a wipe after only being about 20 feet from the pin after my tee shot.

Needless to say, the rest of the round went to shit after this pissweak effort.

Ok time to fess up. I had 3 of these filthy things last sat. The greens were cored a few weeks a go and are back to being almost mint and I just didn't adjust to the greens.

It started on the first when I ran my first putt 6-8 by the hole leaving myself a down hill slider. I then smashed the next putt through the break leaving me another 6 footer than I missed as well. Followed this up with a 3 putt wipe on the 2nd and only 6 points after 6 holes. I wiped the 6th by putting it off the green and then having 3 more putts.

Before my day was done, I added another 3 putts as well.

Finished the day with one on the last for another 6/1 to have 29 points with 17 on the back (what could have been).

I did have 8 x 1 putts including 3 birdies on the back nine.

I had 1 six [6] putt
1 5 putt
and 4 3 putts
Six putt was 2 putts . then missed the 2 footer cause I was not in normal stance on some ones line.followed by a backhanded lean over putt which missed and went 2 ft past. then a off the back of putter miss, then off end of putter in.
5 putt much the same.
It was either screw around like that , or mr scotty Cameron was going 100m into the sugar cane. He does not deserve that.
Best thing to take out of that day was my total lack of tantrum chucking.
Was a few cranky golfers around that day I noticed. I dont do cranky golf

A few weeks back I had maybe a 20m putt, which I topped and the ball probably moved 3m. I three putted from there. If you add the toppy then that's a solid 4 putt.😁
