Darwin 8, 154m pin. 7i 10m long. Ball and pin both a long a little spine. No idea how to get it there so picked a side for the ball to run off too. I chose right, as falling off left could have meant putting off the green. Perfect length, just 5m right.
Try to get the next one just right, not to hard to send it over the spine and off the green. Catches a piece off the lip which slows it. Left with 5ft, girl the putt as I was worried it would race down the other side. 2 dimples short for an easy tap in double.
Outstanding!
Questionable pin placement?

Sounds like it wasn't close to meeting point 3.

OK checking in again Can't remember ever having a 4 putt (prob have, just can't remember it)... I even averaged less than 1x 3putt/round last year, but now 2x 4 putts (really 3) in the last 3 games... Ridiculous!
5th game down with the Laj and honeymoon is over and she has been benched, indefinitely. Back to the Bullseye.
Im in!
Seriously can't remember having a 4 putt ever!!!
Had one yesty.
Temp par 3.
165M
Hit the front edge of the green.
Severly sloping green, crazy really for a temp green...
Hit the first putt bloody well but left it on the high side about 3 feet, sloping downhill putt.
Hit it 3 feet past under the hole, missed the one coming back...
****er.....
First four putt since Kapunda. Standing at the 120m par 3 12th today I thought the biggest challenge was getting my ball to hold onto the green with the test 15-25knott wind blowing over the back of my right shoulder. Slightly drop kicked it but it bounced behind the front left bunker and landed at about 10o'clock on the green. Pin was about 5 metres from the front edge and I was facing a 20m putt down hill.
No problem, shuffled it about 3 and a half feet past the hole.
Third putt slightly up hill, I thought I'd drill it rather than muck with any slight sideways action but in doing so pushed it and it rolled four feet past the hole. Hackles up, I tried to deftly drop it in from the opposite side but dallied too much and it lipped out. 5 for nothing!
Had 2 today. Both got to the stage of I couldn't give a stuff well before the putting started.
Once you go yellow, you will never go back
I have a confession to make
I may have won the nearest the pin in 2 on the 3rd at RA but the truth is it wasn't actually that close to the pin. Maybe 12ft?
I overhit the first putt leaving 3-4 feet for the second which I also overhit by about a foot
Didn't concentrate on the tap in and it slides past for a similar length one which I make
6 for 1 and a sleeve of Pro V1s.
Checking in a 4putt from 12ft today.
Had a 12ft downhill for birdie. Beautiful 6 iron to difficult back pin had been lipping out all day. Thought I am just going to bang this straight in the guts. Picked up after the 3rd putt missed, none of them hit the hole. Walked off with a wipe great game it is
No he didn't like the greens
42 putts
You made 2 all day..
And they were both awesome
Is this the 4+ putts thread?
Asking for a mate.
No really, a mate.
Ok, not a mate. A dim-witted cuddly gent.
I didn't want to say too much. I'm sure he'll pop in here in SIX shakes of a lamb's tail.
