Hi!
Ridiculous 4 jack today on the first. Par 5, hit the fairway, hit the GIR, then proceed to 4 putt for a 7.
The worst part is 3 of the putts were from inside 2 feet! FMD.

I honestly can't remember the last time I four putted and I am a complete spastic with the short stick.

To 3 putt from 2 feet, you must be smacking the shit out of it. Might be time to rethink your strategy.

1st putt was from about 20 feet, downhill, ended up past the hole by about 2 feet. 2nd putt lipped out, rushed 3rd putt due to being dirty with myself for missing the par putt, lipped out again, holed 4th putt.
It was just one of those brain fade moments. Thing is, I putted well for the remainder of the round and shot below my handicap for the first time in quite a while
See video below which almost mirrors how it played out, at least as far as the lip outs go anyway......

Easier to laugh off the 4 jack if you beat the cap.
Good to hear you're back in some form mate.

I witnessed 2 4 jacks yesterday, Ambrose so it was essentially an 8 putt. We laughed

Not a four putt but a three putt and a fluffed chip. Had a 30ft putt downhill 2 breaks. Putted 10ft off the green fluffed the chip coming back then 2 putted for double bogey on par 4. GIR then that !

If we're including the chip that got him from the back of the green to just off the front, then Monsta is now over-qualified for this thread.

It is my sad duty to make an entry in this thread, from our second hole (20th) at Coffs Harbour in the NSW OzGolf Championships yesterday. The greens were very quick, particularly downhill/downgrain/downwind, so I do wonder if mine was the only one during the weekend.
Followed it up with two good one-putts, so there was a bit of a bounceback.
