Managed possibly my first ever 4 putt today. 8th hole Maryborough, tough index 2. On the green in GIR, back left maybe first time ever. 60ft putt, give it a rap, hits the couch in the green and pulls up 12ft short.

Decide to give the next one a little extra due to couch, powers 8ft past the hole. Hit a nice one for bogey, but alas, it horseshoes back to me stopping 2cm outside the hole. Easy way to make double.

Generally I am pretty easy going, but I did get as far as cocking the arm to launch the putter into Ululah lake. Common sense prevailed, and dropped a 20ft bomb on the next for an easy birdy.

There are no threads for 6 putts, either. Technically I had one of those today, but I had a 4 putt as well, so I'm checking in for two in one round.

We were playing a stroke event, so on the 2nd green, after my third putt missed, I angrily knocked the ball away, spewing about my 4 putt wipe. It's a stroke event they said. So another two putts makes six.

Two holes later, on our temporary green, I couldn't make the ball go straight. So, 12 putts in three holes, and 25 in total for the nine. Both personal worsts for me.

I played with a dim witted cuddly gent who did the same thing on the first hole of a stroke round at Kingaroy.

It might have been Kilcoy, I don’t know the difference. This also explains why we were where we were. I thought it was the other one.

Played with a young gentleman on Saturdays monthly mug. Was on fire and 2 under through 6. Hit the par four 7th in regulation and proceeded to five putt. I would be fibbing if I said I didn't have a little giggle.
