Saw Rafter on the golf show the other week.

I know Oliver Hudson from Rules of Engagement plays off scratch or something like that. Saw him in the A&T pro am a few months back and he played like a PRO.

Garfield Sobers took up golf after cricket and got to scratch for about 5 years. He was still knocking it 270m in his 60's. A few years back he was still off 8 handicap at 71yo.

saw aker play at a golf day here. was only one hole though. I'd say 4 imo. bloke stripes it, but has one of the worst short games on a low marker i've ever seen.

If you've only seen him play one hole and you've witnessed his short game, I'm wondering how you could say that he stripes it?

it was an ambrose day. he played a hole, but you couldnt take any of his shots. maybe he just lost interest by that stage (i don't know if he was just playing the 1 hole all day).

He is past 50 now, so he is probably having a shot at the Legends Tour in Oz. It would be for the fun of it I would suggest, as the prize money on offer isn't much.

Get ready for the bleating from Victoria when he doesn't get selected for the World Cup of golf team.

He won't get in the team; it's full of NSW golfers that don't deserve their spot.

    Catherine Bell JAG 32
Catherine Bell with a high handicap means more time spent on course watching her closely This can only be a good thing.

    catherine-belltcfb-femme-fatale1.jpg

Tubby Taylor plays off 2 left handed and is apparenty good enough for single figures right handed.
That always blows my mind, that someone can be so good at cricket one way, and golf the either, when the swings are not totally different. Ah sporting ability, how I wish I had you

what about poor old charles barkley.
    Gotta love old Charles

At Pelican Waters, John Monie plays off about 16. Alfie was off 25 and it should have been double that. Former tennis tour player Peter Tramacchi plays off about 5 and played div 2 pennant.
    Forum needs more banter.
