I'll most likely be playing WAGC easter monday, as a newbie though I have no idea how to go about getting a guest on for a comp round.

You'll have to talk to the Captain. Simmsy is an online pirate captain.

Mint I am not sure I'll be in town otherwise I would host at the Royale.

If anyone offers Kwinana avoid as it is a goat track.

Just book in using online timesheet. If you can't enter a guest online then need captain permission then book through pro shop. Normally Fridays and Monday no problem. Will be down south myself..
You're in big trouble though, pal. I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast!

    Thanks Bergsey.
Well I'm happy to host if you want to play WAGC on easter monday, think its about $60 green fees for guests. As long as you don't mind playing with a hacker like myself.

$40 for members guest if they are a member at another club. Pretty reasonable I would have thought off top 50 track

Very funny, although I'm not sure if the guys from golf digest weren't mistaken as to which course WAGC is, the article mentions how great the couch fairways are there.

    Better than $50 at RF!
I'd never pay when playing at RF given the opportunity.

TBH, I wouldn't pay $50 to play anywhere. Maybe LK but only because I haven't played it.

Golfnut offers $50 for 18 holes at LK. New personal best low ball?

I love the course. I just don't think it is top 50 in Aus.

Agree, Conditioning and location are the claims to fame. Not architecturally brilliant or otherwise interesting

And holes are too close together! I think I hear more calls of "fore!" there than anywhere else.

I enjoy it more than Lake K.

In that case, I take back my offer of $50 for LK then.

When I caddied at Royal Perth two years ago there were a lot of 'fores' blurted out that day. I felt like I needed a hard hat to avoid an injury.

Actually, I take that back about WAGC. Royal Perth was a war zone during the WA amateur. In just spectating for about 4 holes,
Simmo and I witnessed a couple very close calls.

I personally came close to taking out a two separate groups on the last and also almost had my bag taken out during the practice round.
