Seems to be Apple dwvces affected (maybe we have auto update on and that's killed it).

I got a notification you'd quoted my post so it's at least partly working - I just can't browse the forums and therefore can't reply to anything.

I don't know why it works for some and not for others, but I made a boo-boo. I started an upgrade process for Tapatalk, but didn't do the final step. This has now been done, so it should be fine now.

Yay! Thanks AndyP, appears to work fine now (I had to clear the cache and in one case remove the forum and re add it to Tapatalk) but all good.

I've been using the Testflight version of Tapatalk for a while but I just noticed in this latest version that Ozgolf doesn't allow posting of images to Tapatalk and instead posts sh*tty quality attachments.

Any ideas?

My iOS phone has v4.1 running on it.
The forum server has v5.5.1.

Ok cool. The test flight is 4.2.0 (661). Still weird why the attachments aren't being posted in full resolution.

I can't even find a setting for photo sharing, although I'm sure there was one previously. Uploaded photos are hosted by Tapatalk not OZgolf anyway.

Yeah. It's ok I might have found it. In Tapatalk there's settings when you press the + sign. See below.

It seems to be working as per normal now on the App Store version. Not sure why the last one came through as an attachment. I'll take it up with Tapatalk Feedback. Cheers Andy.

I looked for that in the general settings but couldn't find it. I knew I had seen it somewhere.

Once you press the + you press the three dots which gets rid of the keyboard and shows the settings.

I'm not getting push notifications from Tapatalk any more for quoted posts, PMs, etc. It's been like this since just before Christmas.

I got a new phone around that time so I'd been putting it down to that but I've tried everything to make it work (deleting app/waiting 48 hours/reinstalling, clearing cache, deleting/readding forum, etc). They're all turned on in Tapatalk and the app has permission to give notifications. And I don't send to be getting them on the iPad either, which wasn't changed. So I'm starting to wonder.

Is anyone else having issues? On iOS specifically.

Nobody quotes the crap you post

No issues here. Email PM notification worked in the last few minutes. Dunno what versions I'm using

You just did so thanks for the test.

I get email notifications for PMs OK. I just don't get any push notification/chime for PMs/quotes etc. like I used to. And no notification in the notifications bit of iOS either.

Might have to ask Tapatalk support what else I can try. Thanks for the confirmation anyway fellas.

I've installed the new Tapatalk instead of the old Tapatalk Pro I was using.

Hate the new version. But maybe it will work properly.....
