Got one the weekend before Christmas on the new 7th hole at Oxley, surprised I wasn't beaten at 281cm. Made the birdie too.

Choppas over Xmas I’ve now collected 3 NTP’s from 4 rounds.

Only one was inside 2 metres.

The others were 5m and 6m. Gotta love small fields.

Does social club count? About 1 foot on the 14th at Wolston park 125m 9 iron dead set thought this was the one to go in

3rd @ Palmer Sea Reef for a $10 Drummond Voucher

A couple of bobbles on the green “robbed” me of the birdie.

I haven't been in this thread for a while, so I'm very pleased to announce I hit a 7 iron from 115 uphill on our 17th green to 13cm. Even at my putting worst I can hole them from 13cm, so an easy birdie.

Yes, 13cm. You can't see the bottom of the flag from the tee, so I had no idea it was so close. I'm fairly sure this is the closest I've ever been to a HIO without it going in.

NTP on 5 today, 270cm-ish. 164m 7 iron just past the hole. We were on the all carry tee - I missed the putt.

Not to threadjack, but how is Rowes Bay looking? I'm going to be in Townsville over Easter and looking at having a hit there if things work out.

Looking good, greens are starting to come back from being scarification but all is good. Give me us a yell if you need a game or comp. Playing the weekly comp is usually cheaper than a social round

No worries, thanks for the offer. At this stage its looking like I'll try to jag a spot in the Easter Saturday members comp if possible. I'll shoot you a message once I know more. Cheers.

I had one on Friday 2nd at Cairns, hit the base of the flag on the fly landing 1-2 inches behind the up and settled just over 1m away.

Glad is didn’t hit it flush otherwise it probably would have ended up in the piss.

Another one I thought would be beaten but wasn't, 520cm on the 5th at Oxley. Misread the putt unfortunately but made par.

Well done, however IMO, 520 is more like least worst.

Tried to change our NTP's to less than 4m or they jackpot........defeated by the mediocrity. The secondary benefit is I don't have to see someone put 'about 15m', and then say, you never know.

I tend to agree, although it wasn't the easiest pin on that hole today I didn't expect to keep it. The only other name on it was at 551cm or something. When they put it down the front of the green on that hole it's usually inside 2 metres that wins it.

Can finally make an entry here, thin 8 iron didn't feel great but somehow managed 170cm for the NTP on 18.
