    Default NTP wins by Ozgolfers.

2nd hole at Mackay, 2nd round of Mackay Open. 175m, hit a high draw with a 6 iron. Pin was cut 2m from the left edge, over a bunker and water. Hit it to 423cm pin high right. No possible way that could be beaten, as the old farts couldn't run a 3 wood through the bunker. Another $40 pro shop credit.

This is my first entry here, and my first NTP of any type for about 3 years. 7 iron to 154cm on Ballina's easy 5th hole. I was a bit surprised it held up. A Chicken Mania prize (I don't what this means yet) and a mini pro pin prize of $55. I had a very good day on the 3's, and I was closer on 17, but so was somebody else.

190 metre par 3 4th at Dunheved. Was joking with the guys "wouldn't it be funny if I had a hole in one with a driver here" it was absolutely blowing it's nuts off out there today.

Turns out I was the only one to hit the green today at all, and my 11.5 metre NTP held on

I hope this was an accurate measurement, rather than a guess after stepping it out.

The Sunday comp at Camden Lakeside was quite a small comp, and they always had the NTP on the 9th, which is quite a hard green to hit. When the wind is blowing, it wasn't unusual for no one to claim the prize. Usually there was a hard luck story from the first groups of someone who didnt bother measuring a long distance, only to see the prize go unclaimed. After a while it was common to see the first entry as 12.5metres or something silly like that, just in case nobody else hit the green.

Yay, I can post in here.

9th hole at Portland, all of 288m.

Would have been at least 25 feet, maybe 30.

    What was the NTP prize?

Was it embarrassing, writing your name on the marker, then three putting?

    1 X Srixon soft feel.

Didn't three putt, I wedged up, then two-putted.

22cm on the 16th today was good enough for the Club Pin. Given the shite score I had I will take it, but it was very close to being a 1.

On a roll at the moment. A grade NTP on the 6th on Saturday, and the Pro Pin on the 11th today. My ball account is looking very healthy.

NTP on the 16th twice this week, Wed and Sat rounds, with resultant birds. Where is that conquered the game thread! We won't talk about my tee shot on Friday though!

Either it has been slim pickings for Ozgolf on the NTP front, or people couldn't find this thread.

I got one today, on the fairly difficult 9th at Ballina, a green I hardly ever hit. 366cm was good enough for the $77 pro-pin. Missed the putt though.

I got a lovely NTP last weekend at Portland. 9th, 288m par 4 playing into the breeze. Hit a weak fade to the left side of the fairway to about 70 out, but was blocked out by trees. Played a lovely punched 6 iron over a little mound 15m short of the green, it ran up and sat 3.5 feet to the left of the pin.

Proceeded to miss the hole by around 3 inches with the putt.

Oh, me too. I picked one up on the 14th last weekend - 167m into the wind, flushed (by my standards) a 4 hybrid to about 4 feet. Missed the putt.
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!
