We haven't had a post in this thread for a while. Maybe all of you flag hunters have forgotten about it.

I'm pleased to be able to bump the thread with a slightly mishit 3 hybrid that bounced in exactly the right place and rolled up to 124cm on our 164m 9th hole today.

Even better was the pleasant surprise that this was the pro-pin hole, for a bounty of $178.

Not so good is the follow-up that I missed the putt.

I am hoping Dcanto has some good news for me when he sees the Gordonvale results from yesterday.

By far the highlight of a bad day was my 5 hybrid from 157 to about a metre on the 17th.

The prize doesn't matter but the prestige of posting here is very important to me.

This is technically the wrong thread, but the excitement of the NTP wasn't even close to the surge I felt today after getting my name on the Long Drive leader board after group 1 today. Bluu and KJ folded under the pressure and couldn't hit the fairway. Haysey gave me a target to beat and I blasted it past him on about the 5th bounce. It didn't hold up but it may still be my finest golf achievement.

The 150m one over the water was a real challenge to set a standard. Bluu hit first and looked to be on the front edge about 80 feet away. Haysey wimped out but was definitely on the green about 90 feet away. I also wimped out but 70 feet was just good enough to get on the board. P

Loving the birds nest thingy the club is running, like taking candy from a baby or birdie money from Jamie.

    Well done Mick.

I won the NTP on the 18th at Sheraton Mirage today. I lasered it at 138m, hit a pull but was on the green pin high. I was about as far away from the pin as possible while still on the green (~12m), so clearly no one else even got on.
