Another $15 pub voucher for NTP for 2 on the par 4 3/12.
Slightly chunky 6iron from 142m into the wind on the 3rd. Stuck it to 8 foot and was the first to hit the green for the day (we were last group out)

That's a decent incentive there Hatch. Got an NTP and sunk the birdie on our 5th today and all I get is 3 balls!

One does the NTP for 2 and a par 3 and one of the others does the other par 3

Mate of mine knocked a tidy one into a tucked pin on the 14th at Cabra on Saturday. Put it to about 1m, thinking he'd be in with a good chance to win the pro pin (usually around $150-180 on a Saturday). Poor bloke got up to the green, checked if anyone was on the NTP sheet yet, and some other dude had aced it. Hole in ****in' one. He was spewing.

How many par 3s do your courses have NTPs on? Liverpool, my former club, has only one out of four par 3s; Cabra, my current club, has NTPs on two out of five threes; Cairns Golf Club, where I played as junior, from memory had NTPs on all four of its par 3s. Mates of mine at Carnarvon say they have NTPs on all four par 3s there as well.

Being a 9 hole course we only have 2.
Only about 5% of the field get 2 cracks at both as the 18th is played a as 240m par 4 slightly up hill that plays more like 250m.
It's an elite club that gets NTP on 9/18 with the tee shot off the 18th. At last count I think there's only 6 of us that have been successful.

    5/14
    5th 145m
    14th 170m

    9/18
9th 175m off back but plays off the forward blocks a lot at 145-160m
    18th 240m par 4

At NH, we normally have NTPs on the 3/12th and 5/14th. Last weekend (whilst I was away), they had a Grand Final Day and had an NTP in two on the 1/10th and a NTP on the 200m par 3 8/17th in addition to the usual ones. I'm going to speak to the Committee about having this every weekend!.

This is still the case. They've stopped it now, but for a while there they also had pins on 9 (par 4) and 18 (par 5), as well as an eagle's nest on the 1st.

Took home an ntp in the State two man Ambrose. Box of ProV1X for my efforts, great prize.

Was 38cm away from the ace, which would have won me a new Club Car Golf Cart.

We have 4 NTP's on all par 3's. Our 3rd is the money hole where you pay an extra dollar to go in. If someone gets the NTP on the 3rd and hasn't put their money down they just get 2 balls and the money jackpots until it goes off.

We have 4 NTPs on our Par 3's and a pro pin on a selected hole where you pay a dollar. Pro pin is for each grade and can be different shot for different grade as well.

Lucky for me today I won A grade pro pin with 303cm, B grade was 150cm

    Nice one.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Hit one to about 10ft on the 8th today. Playing partner suggested I measure it for NTP, but I responded it wasn't close enough to win. As we were teeing off on the next hole I saw a guy in the group behind hit it to 6 inches.

Managed to snag two on Saturday, one a delicious 4 iron that never left the flag on our 175m Par 3 18th. Bounced 8 feet short, ran past the edge of the cup, and sat dead behind the hole 6 feet away. Missed the putt by 4 inches, at least.

The other was the 14th, par 4 of 320m. Big drive and a flick 58° from 65m to 4 feet. Missed that putt by at least 6 inches.

    Good times.
