17th at Gungahlin Lakes, 131m downwind. Wedge pitched short of the hole, bounced, and settled at 92cm, knocking off the guy in the group in front at his 95cm.

Won golden shot, $505 plus the NTP $15. Woo

    Nice one - well done.

    Default NTP wins by Ozgolfers.

I get to report one. Hoozah!

Yesterday, I knocked off the club captain's NTP on the 16th by sticking it to 63cm, when 149m from the pin (that's a five iron for me). I got $15 credit for my troubles, and no sharing the prize with C graders.

I got one yesterday too. 14th at brookwater, monthly medal so off the blacks. I thought it was going in, it was dead at the pin. Somehow a 6 iron checked up 1 foot after pitching, leaving it 2 feet short.

5th at Mull landed 72cm from cup and it was good enough for pro pin and a $175 payout.

Got one today at Tenterfield on the 9th, about 145m into the wind, hit a 5 iron straight over the pin to about 6 feet. Then 3 putted the bloody thing 🤣

Is the 9th the one with the rocks in front of the green or is that the 18th?

That's the 18th. The 9th has the lodge building behind the green, goes parallel to the 1st.

Paying highlight of the recent City of Cairns was that I managed to get NTP on Friday for the 2nd hole. Had my name down on Sunday too but it appears I got knocked off.

I had it on Wednesday on 2, until I was conveniently beaten by 2cm.

Cleaned up this weekend for our golf trip to Tenterfield.

Day one NTP on the 14th think it was about 170ish

Day two NTP on the 14th again, 18th (125m) and got the long drive as well

I don't get to report one of these very often, but I got one to happen today. A perfect bounce (which I played for) on our uphill 12th meant my 5 iron finished 108cm from the hole. Our greens had been sanded that morning, so 108cm putts were no certainty, but I made that one. A massive $10 prize at a local menswear retailer. Maybe a pair of socks?

    Had 2 last Saturday.
21st hole hit a sweet 5 iron 0n a 171m uphill pin and left it 152 cm out, made the bird
6th hole hit a sweet 3/4 8 iron to a 128m uphill pin slightly into wind. I actually thought I had hit it off the back of the green, apparently it landed a couple of metres before the pin and finished 75cm behind the pin.

Got one on Sunday at 445cm. I put my name on it expecting it to be beaten given it was only a wedge or 9 iron at most to the pin. I'll take it though 🤣

Closer than your 520cm back in April, but still "not that far away" rather than near.

    Congrats on the 'cap improvement.

True lol. I hit one to about 6 feet on another hole the other week but someone else was already closer. And cheers

Managed to get one on a social day at Meadowbrook on Saturday. Hit a 9 iron on the 3rd to about 2m at holed the birdie. Highlight of a crappy ball striking day but what can I expect when I play every 6 weeks?? 😂
