I certainly don't have a problem with having some bad stuff, but I've just got to find the right balance. I've nearly got under 89kg, but the real test will be over the next few weeks, when I have to travel for work. At least it isn't Europe, where I have very little willpower.

Anyone noticed Alan from Aussie Golf Reviewer has lost a lot of weight? Almost looks a bit too skinny...

That's what people say when you lose a good amount of weight, because of how you used to look. I got "gaunt" quite often.

Well.. today I hit a little milestone of my own.

After finishing Boxing Day weekend at ~93.5kg I made some tweaks to the diet, a bit of daily exercise (cranked it up in the last two weeks) and this morning I weighed in at 83.8kg.

Just shy of 10kg in 6 weeks. The last time I dropped this much weight so fast I was training for an Ironman.

    My update......

Started in July, now down 42 kgs, 139 to 97.5 yesterday. Planning / hoping to drop another 3-8 kgs. Want to be properly lean as I have been such a fat bastard for so long. Back to the glory days is the plan.

The three work weeks away are done, and I was just hoping to break even and not have a gain from this period. It tended to be long work days, then off to a pub for a meal and a couple of beers. I was disciplined the first week, the second week I dropped off, then the third I gave up, as it included a family visit. The Saturday step on the scales showed 88.8kg, which was a gain; disappointing, but not too bad. The Sunday weigh-in showed 87.9 though, under the mini goal. Phew!

Next mini-goal is to get under 86.5kg, which was the weight before the first Vienna trip at the end of last year.

I have started the journey.....again. No grog for the last 3 weeks, back in the gym 12 days ago, weighed myself and need to lose 3 kg for my first goal, another 4 kg for my second goal and then another 10.5kg for my target so 17kg overall. Nearly over the calf issue hopefully so might be able to get back to golf soon and start walking the course and roads. Got to say, feeling very good not having a drink, trying the 100 day challenge which will certainly help the weight loss.

Actually I hit another milestone today myself, down to 80kg which is close to 14kg since Xmas.

Given I ate and drank what I wanted at the Champs for a solid 8 days I’m pretty impressed.

There’s no doubt in my mind that sticking to a LCHF diet, eliminating processed foods and drinking heaps of water is the best thing you can do for your body and overall health.

Fail! I blewout over 90 (92) again. I can't keep my head in it, while my injury continues, stopping me from exercising.

I'm now trailing a gym for three weeks, and I'll go back on the Man Shakes at the same time. I'll try to find a routine that works over the next few weeks, and if successful, I'll buy a membership. If I do that, I figure I'll have to go to the gym to justify the money paid.

I have been cruising at 94-95kgs, which was my goal since my post, I will ramp up my dieting and cardio 1st September and plan to be around 90kgs at Christmas.

My diet has remained good, so to drop further I will introduce morning fasting, cut some of the portions down a little, and back off the fats a little (albeit good fats)

Any suggestions on apps for doing weight type stuff? I haven't done it since recording it on paper in a table generated by Excel.

Raised the bat after the holiday. No great surprise after having beers every day for 3 weeks at lunch and dinner. Might have a semi dry August and get back on the bike.
