Weighed in this morning at 88.0. happy that I did not go over the 90kg mark with the food festival that the cruise was.

Week one of the FBC complete:
6/1: 133.4
13/1: 130.4
3 wickets?
Cheers Bihn, got to take a few more wickets yet, but happy with the good start.
C25K starts this week, so that should help.
What is the c25k??
Training program to get heffalumps like me off the couch and running 5 k (C25K = Couch to 5k). Basically an interval based training program for building running fitness.
Did it 10 years ago, and it actually works quite well.
Official weigh-in time.
Week 1: 102.1
Week 2: 98.4
Almost 4 wickets gone. That rate of loss won't last (and I wouldn't want it to). I'd expect it to level out to about 1kg per week over the next fortnight or so.

Yeah, knees suck. That was my issue with running, even as a kid, and even in the c25k they hurt like a bitch. Got fitted at a running store and it helped a lot. But I tend to still injure them a bit. Had patella tracking issues, and cartilage strains every now and then. But what's the fun if you can't hurt yourself.
Water running is actually pretty bloody tough, when you do it properly and without a flotation belt.
Also for those that wanna try weights but hate the gym or just find it boring (me also) I do compound exercises with just a couple of different weight dumbbells. Provides an extra cardio workout, which I like after going for a run, walk or ride. It doesn't take too long, gives a pretty good all over workout, and I don't feel as trashed as I used to with traditional gym workouts. And adding muscle means more calories burned, at least that's what I've heard.
76kg this morning. More telling was my visceral fat was 7kg. Gotta get that sucker sorted out.

In a week where I have the kiddies on school holidays and its predicted 39 every day, it was nice to get out for a quick ride this morning. Only had half an hour, but found a couple of hills and cracked a decent sweat....

I fail at intake on weekends, but hopefully the 40k plus that I ran in the last 3 days more than compensates.
Now that the 12hr days have finished at work, I am contemplating riding the pushy to the GC of an afternoon with a wedge and putter.
Exercise and practise (need the latter sooo much at the moment) its a win-win situation

ive just finished an 8 week plan just before xmas, my starting weight was 94kg, im now sitting sweet at 82. all that was just eating right and gym 3 times a week for 30 mins. got given an eating plan that is amazing, basically if your working out a little here and there its perfect for you. if anyones interested in it shoot me an email on paints09@bigpond.com and ill foward it to you, has alot of reciepes n everything too.
thanks bud will send through now. yeah worked hard for it and feel better for it now. considering ive got a heart condition (had since i was born 5 major open heart ops since i was born im 27 now) its a really good thing.
Dropped from 73.9 to 72.5 in one week. I haven't done a thing, except for doing solid poos for the first time in 6 weeks.
The exercising has started, 20km on the bike today (-700 calories) followed by a protein shake for lunch (calories) means to should romp in my 1600 calorie today.
Going to try to cycle 2-3 times a week and add a swim as well.
should have tuna on water crackers with a shake for lunch man, protien shakes arent suppose to be a meal replacement.
