its not obesity, its not fat, its Stout. This thread is actually quite prejudiced. Be stout and be proud.

Ps, you've gone from a sorta ok brekkie of protein and carbs to a brekkie of carbs with carbs. Baked beans and eggs or steak might be a bit better.
So I took your advice and have bumped out the calories to about 1600 a day, this should help me lose about 0.5kg a week without any exercise according to myfitnesspal. Only problem is most of the food I eat is not on the lists so I'm just guessing its about right

You can input your own foods/info into myfitnesspal I'm pretty sure.

What I meant to say is they have the food in there similar to what I eat, but I'm guessing the portions and contents so I just normally pick the highest calorie one to be on the safe side.

I've wheeled out the wife's old exercise bike again, since I'm trying to keep the running light this week, as the legs felt a bit stressed.

Yesterday it was Just Dance 4 on the Wii with the kids.

Must be something about the European diet but there are no fat people in Bath or London or Dublin. Not that I saw anyway. I noticed it last year too when in Scotland and France.
First obese person I saw was at Melbourne airport on the return leg.

I had the opposite experience... fat, ugly, pasty white people everywhere in England. Slim stunners everywhere in Continental Europe (Italy & France particularly).

We must have visited different parts of England. Seriously didn't see one fatty there.
I have to agree about the stunners in France.

I did see a human hippo in Paris. As she waddled past the American accent became apparent.

Wicket and a half?? 87.6 to 86kg since tuesday morning. My fitnesspal is good helping count calories which I'm trying to keep at around 1600 per day.

I'm doing small things so far like instead of 3 sugars each in my 2 x double black coffees in the morning I'm having one double with just 2 sugars. Drinking more Green tea, no soft drinks so far and I normally drink a lot of water anyway.

I've even had a beer session (3 beers x Hahn Superdry's) on Wednesday with a Steak Sandwich, and loaded on Duck Congee last night......

Seems to be working, next weigh in will be tuesday.

If I used last Thursday night's weigh-in (80.2kg) as the starting point, it would be like getting a couple of wickets with no-balls. Friday morning is my preferred time, so I'll use that.

    3/1 am: 78.2kg
    10/1 am: 77.8kg

That sort of loss per week is fine by me. I'm trying to be more disciplined in the amount I eat/drink and add the occasional cross training for the days that I don't run.
