    2/1 pm: 80.2kg
    6/1 am: 78.4kg

I haven't really lost any weight, but I'll start trying today without resorting to calorie counting at this stage.

    Down to 99.7 from 102.4kg. That's a quick 2 for.

Getting close to my normal, non-exercising, occasional junk food weight. Will need to consider some exercise to get down to the 95kg goal.

I thought they had them built in, you know with all the gyroscopes and accelerometers etc. Just try placing it in a solid floor (timber or tiles, carpet may affect the reading) and stand on it with one foot and let us know what happens (if you wanna use both feet you might need to use a lump of wood in a kind of seesaw fashion, but remember to weigh the lump of wood first and then subtract it from your overall weight)

Weighed in at 103.2kg this morning. Ideally like to get to 95 and then reassess. Just need to get my butt into gear and make a start.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Official starting weight from this morning: 102.1

I'm counting calories and increasing activity levels, starting with daily 8km walks (plus 20kms at golf on Saturdays) hopefully graduating to runs in the near future.

I'll throw my hat in the ring here too.

Starting weight - 133.4kg as at 5am this morning.

Calorie intake is down, exercise levels are up. First goal is 120, final goal double figures. Always been big - I am 6"3', and the spare tyre is the killer. Currently living in a construction camp - good news is there is good exercise facilities. Bad news, the healthy food options are limited.

Testing the theory this year that weight loss might improve my golf more than my incessant ho-ing (but I am still going to ho though).

Paleo diet! Is that the one where you only eat things found on the ground? Does that include a dropped burrito?

I think society is too accepting of obesity. Being constantly called skinny, when I am not, is a part of that, as it reflects what people seem to think is normal.

Paleo is sorta what I'm doing for my Whole30.
It's 'what we used to eat'. Nothing processed and so on. There are varying extremes of how far you can take it.

This ^^ you have no idea how much I want a glass of milk!

Waddzy, maybe try a whole30 as well? Www.whole30.com.
The idea is to work out what (if anything) makes you feel rubbish out of all the things we eat. Eliminate everything for 30 days, then reintroduce it in a planned manner to gauge your body's reaction.
