Well, we are exactly 18 days from teeing it up and duking it out again for the Uncivil War. If you don't know already this is being played on the prestigious turf of Royal Melbourne's West course, the nations number 1 sporting complex.

Spud, you will be pleased to know that you only give me one shot now. The 0.1 I lost from Saturday's round, actually cost a full shot at RM. If we can get the slope increased by 2, I can get the shot back though.

OK gents and lady, here are the finer details for the day:

Light lunch will be at 12.30pm, at 1.15pm we will receive a quick briefing from a member of staff and head out to our allocated tees for a 1.30pm shotgun start. Unfortunate, but they want us all finishing around the same time for food afterwards.
Speaking of food afterwards, post-game drinks and eats will be held at 6pm. Wines and beer etc will be available via cash bar before and after the game, so if you need some pre-game dutch courage to calm the nerves, facilities are available!

There will be a drinks cart out on course to cater for us, and each player is allocated 3 drinks (non-alcoholic) and 2 confectionery bars while playing.

Pull-carts are free for hire, and we have range balls included in our package as well, so if you wish to hit a few to warm-up you can, just be aware it'll have to be prior to 12.30, or else you'll miss out on lunch.

Wow. That sounds very swisho. Clown Car travellers we are getting there early to pound range balls and look professional. BenM may have to find other transport, being a confederate scumbucket and all

What does light lunch mean? We need a decent feed before going to war, although the choccy bars will be handy.

I see that running shoes are not allowed. I was thinking of wearing mine to minimise the number of shoes to take down and avoid a colour clash. Not anymore.
