    Home safe and sound.

First thanks to Matty, and all those who helped in any way, for organising the weekend. Organising the Masters was only a fraction of the work for a weekend like this and that was enough for me. You have my sincere admiration and appreciation for everything you did.

In game order, thanks Daves, Lager, Benno, Kristian, DC, Megawatty, Peter_rs and Matty for the hit.

Thanks to those who cooked breakfast this morning.

A very big thanks to Benno for driving to, around and home from Coffs.

It was a pleasure to meet a bunch of OzGolfers for the first time.

Lastly, congrats Benno. Well played champ!

Just want to say a quick thanks to all participants. Was great to see new and old faces and play on a couple of great courses. Weather was good for Coffs on Saturday with a slight wind to keep it interesting. Bonville was picture perfect. Was a pathetic title defence on my part but that's golf. Another great champs! I'm looking forward to just turning up at the next one. Until then ..........

The most commonly heard lines in the aquajet car park

"Have you got (insert club) for me to give to (insert ozgolfer not there)?

    Or

"I've got a (insert club) for you to give to (insert ozgolfer not there)"

Firstly, a big thanks to Matty for a superbly organised weekend. Everything seemed to have been thought of and organised, and the whole weekend seemed to run like clockwork. Both courses were also very welcoming and that made it all the more enjoyable. And what good courses they were! I guess most of us were prepared for the Bonville experience, but Coffs didn't disappoint one bit, and those greens where very true and slick.

Huge congratulations to the big fella, he was pumped for this weekend and determined to bring that trophy home!''

    [IMG][/IMG]

Many thanks for driving us down and back Benno. It was a good thing that you did win though, because the prize money will go some way towards replacing the rear seats and window wind buttons on your Mum's ute. There was some some seriously Grunt like cropdusting going on back there last night!

It was great to catch to all the Ozgolfers on the weekend, many I knew but I got to meet a few new faces as well. Thanks to Dotty, Rqrox, Peppas and Davepuppies for the company and the golf. Plus of course the cheers of "support" from adjoining holes from Anfield, Lipout etc

"Thanks" to Lager and 3 Putt for keeping me awake!, keeping me alert! and keeping me amused all weekend!

Look for the Identikit pictures of Lager in a McDonalds near you shortly!

I decided to burn anything in the rear section of the ute, and then the front.

Drove back to Maryborough this morning sitting on an upturned milk crate.

    My nose still hurts though.

Finally able to post. Got home at midnight last night and was back up at 6am for a round this morning!

Firstly, huge thanks to Matty for all his efforts organising and getting NSW champs on the road for 2 years running. KJ has some big shoes to fill for next year!

Thanks for those who put up with me over the 2 days of golf, RQ, Daves and Dotty day 1, and SMS, Mega and Haystacks on day 2. Great to play with a bunch of ozgolfers I'd never met before too.

Thanks to all those who came. As always, great bunch of guys and lots of laughs.

Congrats to the champ, I daresay the amount of seafood eaten on Saturday night made the difference down the stretch!

Hopefully see you all at next years champs.

Well, after a coffee deprived work day, I can have a few moments to think back over another fantastic weekend.

Kudos to Matt for thinking Coffs. Well worth the travelling. Bonville was great and worth the experience. Coffs was very good as well and excellent value for money.

Thanks to all of the Queenslanders and expats who came down. You helped make it a great weekend. We'll probably be closer to Sydney next year, but if you have the time and means to get there, we would love to have you a second time around.

Many thanks to the Coffs members who acknowledged our resplendent dress manner, but probably changed their mind when Liptout turned up...

Thanks to dc, Watty and 3pp for an enjoyable Sat round, and do again, TS and the eventual champ for the Sun round where at various times in various manners, we all had one hand around our necks and another reaching for the trophy. In hindsight I should have made more of an effort to work out where things stood on 18...maybe we could have had a clear winner if Benno and DC knew the state of play.

Thanks also to the Hoey Moey for five fiddy schnitzels and a decent covers band on Friday, the Cex club for enabling me to watch the Panthers climb to the top of the NRL ladder (and a personal victory over Benno), however no thanks to the KFC on the corner of the highway and Park Beach Rd for wreaking havoc on my digestive system (8 schooners may have helped though).

And finally, my utmost thanks to the once 50-something white male for giving me his passenger seat and AP2s to borrow for the weekend, and a few of his Singhas to wet the whistle with between the Port Mac interchange and Heatherbrae.

As for next year, there's not much that I need to tinker with. I've got a few willing volunteers to get in touch with in due time, but one thing you can look forward to is a long multi break putt being added to the putting comp. That alone should mean I have no chance of defending that title.

KJ needs to change his avatar.

We saw heard what happened last year, when the putting comp. came down to canning a long putt.

Matty has found the right two formulas for NSW champs - one for close to home and one for a more exotic feel.

Panthers logo to make an appearance tonight.

Do you happen to have a breakdown of the putting comp results like you did last year? I'd like to add it to the OP (not for mere personal satisfaction, of course...)

How come KJ gets a merit bar for a few putts? Mod perks!
My Saturday long drive had more hang time than the whole putting comp

Jokes KJ. Well done. Post a pic of the perpetual putting trophy.
