Walked my el cheapo 2 wheel buggy around a very hilly course yesterday, lost count of how many times it almost tipped over. Meanwhile my mate is cruising along with his Clicgear, letting it roll down hills with no worries. Sigh. One day....

Was poking around in HOG today.
Looked at and drove the Bag Boy Quad around the shop floor. Wish I'd seen one of these before I made the impulse purchase over a month ago.
Anyone had both a Clicgear and a Smoothy Micro Suspension to compare them? Already have the Smoothy and I'm a big fan but I'm keen on the new Clicgear.
Gave my new Clicgear 3.5 its first run of 9 holes on the weekend. Loved it. So nice not having to pick your bag off the floor after your 2 wheel cheapie flips over.

So its new buggy time and Clicgear is still the winner by the looks of it.. Anyone seen them going cheap ?

Take your golf bag with you to see how it fits on each as they all differ!

There is a clic gear on eBay for $190 on the goldie, used obviously. If you want to save $80 or so.
May head up one day after work.. seems like its only a 20 minute drive from my work. Hopefully I can either get some $$ knocked off or some extras thrown in..
Do you work in Brisbane?
Slacks creek so not too bad.
I bought a BagBoy Triswivel recently, as it fits the standbag a lot better than the Clicgear. (Wazanic bought a BagBoy Quad for the same reason, and saved a bit of money over the Triswivel and Clicgear.)
If you use a standbag, then I'd recommend looking at these before committing to a Clicgear.
You don't get me. I'm part of the Union.
I have my callaway Cart bag that I use for buggies so I will be checking that one against the buggies... Only use the stand bag lately because I knew I had to carry/took it to Vic as it was lighter.
My Clicgear needs a major wheel alignment but other than that I'm loving it

Wadzzy, track a new 3.0 down , should be cheap...
Should but not the case.

My Ping staff bag fits on fine, plus ypu can buy a converter kit for them now...
I pulled the rear springs out of my smoothy express and replaced with some stainless tube that fits over the lugs that hold the springs.
Rolls nicely now and doesnt bog down . and the plate on seat shaft doesnt dig in to the ground when in rough now (which is most of the time) Still havent attacked front wheel yet , i think thats the one that causes the problem going up hill , might try soon .
Cheaper option than buying a new buggy?
Everyone brings happiness to my house,
Some when they arrive and some when they leave.
